Has anyone replaced the front splitter on their GT4 yet?

I've had my GT4 for just over a year and the splitter is looking a bit worse for wear so thought I'd replace it. The part itself is circa £230 which I'm fine with and I thought I'd get the old one refurbed so that I have a spare but I've been quoted £360 for fitment by Porsche which sounds ludicrous.

I'm pretty sure the middle section just bolts on and off. I found this video of a guy changing it on his Spyder and can only assume it's the same for the GT4.

Official time for the replacement of the front spoiler is 1.5hrs; the front bumper is removed to access the tabs to release them so as not to gouge/damage the painted part - in the video it looks very simple, would be a win for the tech!!

I’ve heard mixed things about the front bumper having to be removed, hence why I’m curious whether anyone here has changed theirs.

I’ve also heard that when GT4’s are delivered to garages in the UK, the front splitter isn’t attached and it’s bolted on at the garage.

Considering it’s a perishable part which isn’t overly expensive, it would be a surprise if the bumper needs to be removed.

I’m hoping it’s as easy as it is in the video I posted.

Update

Getting Ninemeister in Warrington to replace the part for me. Fitment is £98 +VAT which I'm happy with.

Went and saw them yesterday and they said it's a simple enough job that they often do during track days.

They also said it may not be worth refurbing the part and I'm probably better off selling it on eBay to guys who track their cars.
