Paul, got the ali ones for road tyres, mags will have slicks on
9x18,11x18 and 1xmag centre, 2400 all in, John Chester recommended a guy at BBS, very helpfull chap

)Mate, I have been mad busy. Just been to Ibiza for a week, then the Goodwood Festival of Speed, hen the World Cup Final!!! Beat that ya f**ker!!
I was thinking of trying to get a few of us to Oulton or Donington in a month or 2, possibly via the PCGB track day calender. What do you think?

Vic,got black flaged at 4.10 pm,102 on drive by.I was using the extra 1k rpm.
The info on the noise in the morning was not correct,the noise marshal said it was 98 drive by and not 92!
Paulr,sorry i missed you at the end of the day,i was coming for you,until the black flag.
Oulton sounds good.

Johhny i am impressed by the golf,even if it did play up a little.
Must not overtake through the corners though!!(As its only a track day)
I think a few were suprised to see a old sc ,a golf and rs filling mirrors.

Paul R,I had got held up for a short period, so i was on a mission.Hence the noise ban.You did get quicker,for sure.There is still loads more to come from the car and driver,especially on those nice new slicks.
We had a some good fun laps.
Mind you still 2 up ,my 76 year old passenger was loving it,and i did manage to get the tyres down to the canvass!
Down to combe next week.

Yes, def. more in the car/tyres (slicks still look like new, quite shocked), the driver needs to pull his finger out, being pushed by a fast driver certainly helped loads, still need more lessons though, soon please
I’m sure some of the posters are still here. I used to have one of these, a black 993 RS CS in LHD. Mine came from Thomas Schmitz in the mid 2000s and I sold it 10 years later. In the meantime I even campaigned it in the Porsche Open which was “eventful”. Happy days.
It’s a shame the cars became so valuable as it limited how often you see them and how often they get used in anger. At one level I regret moving it on, but at another it’s more fun, as a petrolhead, to move through many and varied cars.

Jimmy they were fun days mostly racing!
Interesting to see what it sells for,i thought i might be interested,but been there got the t shirt etc and to much money now to drive how we used to use them,and of course very slow at todays standards.
