No Puma WRC then ?
It's not a works entry in WRC. Ford have been relying on MSport finding their own funding for a very long time, it's why their driver line-up is often crap as they need to bring money to get the drive.

Last thing that I read, was that he was partnering up with Rob in a Lamborghini. bounce

As you reported last Sunday, after Collard's announcement on Feb 7.

Probably a bit off topic but which round of the BTCC would people recommend to go to the most?

I've been thinking about making the trip over to England for a race weekend for awhile, Brands hatch always looked like a nice place to visit!

If your travelling from abroad Brands is very convenient for Ports and Airports. Make a Holiday of it you're half an hour from London and Kent and East Sussex have a huge amount to offer for great days out.

There seems to be a lot of talk elsewhere of wsr moving to fwd 1 series. There’s a teaser shot of the MB car which looks like it might have a hatch body. But its difficult to tell. Does anyone have any info on this? There doesn’t seem to be any rwd advantage anymore so I can see that there may be a reason to go fwd … but with people talking about budgets is the money there to develop a new car? Especially with the development of switching from rwd to fwd?

As many have pointed out on social media the picture that MB released yesterday is exactly the same picture they released a year ago.

It's just weird lighting that leads to all the 1 series theories. The car in the picture is 100% a 3 series.

Gold star to MB. In a world where drivers and teams insist on behaving like needy attention seeking teenagers, pre-announcing the announcement there may be an announcement, MB have caused a meltdown with a repost of a year old photo hehe

It's certainly not a "teaser" shot, it's just a re-post of an image from the 2023 LTR livery launch.

Therefore not a hatch body!

And (as stated above), not a pre-announcement either. Just a photo from last year, but it's certainly done the job of getting people talking and speculating.

Brands Indy circuit you can see most of the track all in one go. I prefer the bank at the bottom of Paddock Hill where most of the action happens and you can see the next frequent overtaking spot of Druids/Graham Hill. Also very convenient for getting back into the paddock quickly..

So the rumours of one Motorsport being done weren’t far wrong - a year off to focus on coming back for 2025.

So that's BMR, Dynamics, Ciceley, Hard, and One Motorsport that have either folded or pulled out of BTCC in just the last few years.

I think Alan Gow and TOCA need to change something urgently for 2025, as clearly the financials of BTCC aren't balancing out at the moment.

Still a decent sized grid for the current economic situation. We are in a recession after all.
