Yes it did pop up on the TrackAddict page👍🏼
Tidying the back is on the list, not quite sure what to do with it. A half cage is on the list as well so i need to wait till that is sorted.
The first set of seats weighed 27kg each. The pole positions weighed 7kg each, so quite a saving!

Yeah maybe one day i will run this on throttle bodies, don’t want to run a standalone ECU though.
To make the ITBs worthwhile you need to be thinking high comp engine with hotter cams etc- aftermarket Management then becomes a necessity! A bolt-on gain they are not....
Damn you! Now you have me looking at Lupo GTI's again! And I really don't need an other car!
Yours looks lovely! The first mods weren't all to my taste, but you're coming along the right way!
I have very fond memory of my black '05 6-speed Lupo GTI. A proper little hot hatch! Mine was lowered with H&R IIRC but completely stock otherwise. I had one that was fully kitted up with heated leather seats, AAC, factory GPS, Alarm, so basically every box ticked. A really impressive piece of kit!
And as others have said, the UP! GTI really is not on par with this!
Slightly OT: Since you had me looking at Lupos, the GTI are too expensive, but I stumbled across a really cheap Lupo 1.4 16V 100 with a noisy engine apparently that I might be tempted by... I have never driven a Lupo apart my GTI, so will the 100 be a complete disappointment?

Followed this car on Club Lupo for a while now, it's absolutely stunning.
Been very lucky to own an Anthracite and now a Laser Blue GTI so it's safe to say I'm pretty attached to them. As mentioned earlier in the thread, they have such a grown-up feel for a small car which is what I love about them - the perfect daily driver.

When I had my LupoGTi, I drove my sisters Arosa 100hp - which is basically the same as the Lupo 100hp.I was shocked at how different it felt. Gearbox, clutch, brakes, steering - all of it felt slacker, softer and less precise, despite having less miles. Alot of people overlook just how much of the LupoGTi was bespoke to the car - it wasn't just a bigger engine and different springs, it was mechanically quite different.
