That sounds lovely. The interior is lovely too.

Looking forward to seeing this getting sorted and back on the road.

I've always dreamt of owning a Ferrari one day, currently got a red Alfa, Maserati I fear is the closest I will get these days, watching this thread with interest.

The bumper has been delivered to my in-laws in Poland. Should be with me in around 10 days.

The xenon headlight works perfectly.

Managed to find the becker stereo code card, it was in the drivers door pocket. Good, because it was asking for a code.

Got a few more needed parts on order. Also made an offer for a headlight, let’s see if it gets accepted.

Looks good even when filthy.

Tried the sport button to hear the exhaust….mean…just mean!!

I will give it a try this summer then sell it on ebay for £1.5khehe I really wanted the car back on the road asap tho
It doesn't look like there are any pieces missing so I think it would be worth a try. I did a motorcycle fairing years a go and was surprised how strong the repair was.

In the interests of speed I can see why ordering a replacement makes sense thoughy.

When you fit the new bumper make sure you retain, or replace, the spacers. Otherwise the bumper will rub on the wings and take the paint off.

Very cool to follow this thread, I hope you get it sorted in time. Lovely Maser, had a 4200 back in the day, but never managed to drive a GS to observe the differences. By all accounts they are significant, maybe I'll get around to that. There is a list of common parts with Alfa and Fiat on a UK Maserati forum that might be useful to you.

The alarm & central locking is now working. Top notch service from the guys at Abacus Alarms with a 24h turnaround.

The bumper and lights will be here ahead of the bank holiday weekend.

Might fit the bumper to get an mot, as the bumper respray is only booked for June 3rd.

Hands up if you've been casually browsing Copra auctions more frequently since this thread arrived.

Managed to do a few things today… removed the bumper and headlights, disassembled the broken headlight and the spare one I bought off ebay to make a blue one.

The airbox is broken so bought the Trofeo K&N intake arrangement as a replacement.

Still needs a wash…!

A quick wash… unveiled a little dent in the bonnet. Should’t be too difficult to sort out…

Maseratis are so tempting, for the price they are so much for the money. Deeply characterful cars, I drove a Quattroporte sport gts and that was a hoot.

Has the subframe etc been checked out?

Headlight-to-wing support tab repair using hot staples and epoxy glue (araldite).
