Getting light clunky type vibrations to rear of car just after take up of clutch but only in first gear.....probably a trip to the fish required but any ideas?

Probably the diff. Might be a bit of half shaft play. Mr Fish will easily sort it biggrin

Check your driveshaft bracket. It could be loose if and it is, your DS might be slapping around in there.

My car has similar issues, but I'm changing the diff oil next week so hopefully that might help. Whilst I'm there I'll check the half shafts for play.
