A ZZR 600, I lasted four days on on before I sold it on, it was like riding a sofa around. I did make £300 profit on it mind you.

Kawasaki kh250 - Suzuki sp370 & within a day back to a Kawasaki kh400 , no idea of cost as young / single , just board to pay , sp370 was truly awful , or probably not what I liked
No , you were correct they were awful i had one for a little while, just as horrible was the ts185er vibes were horrible , went for a test ride on a kh400 which a mate was selling , i rode it to the end of his road and took it back nah not for me .

Owned a Ducati 748 for about 3 weeks 20+ years ago

Chopped it in for an Aprilia RSV Mille Gen 1 and never looked back. On my 8th Aprilia now

I've had quite a few bike for just a couple of months. No reason really other than I just change my mind about what I after. Fortunately I always buy well, make stuff pretty mint and mechanically sound and sell for a decent profit.

I haven't really bought a bike with that being the goal but it's happened lots of times now. I think I'm up to around 25/30 bikes I've owned now in about 15 years. In the last 3 weeks I've sold 2 bikes and bought 2. Both of these are supposed to be keepers but I make every purchase with similar intentions so who know. My wife's stopped taking any notice now lol

I owned a Yamaha YBR125 for six months. I bought it straight after doing my CBT and quickly realised I need to do my DAS. As soon as I passed that, I traded in the YBR for for a Tiger 800.

Forgive me father for I had a MP3 400 three wheel scooter for 2 months before I realised I looked like a total dhead on it.

It wasn't cheap to commute on at all and kept breaking so I sold it and lost a couple of hundred quid.

Never again am I buying a 'project' bike. Don't have the time nor patience.

a very good deal from a friend, i took it and sell it after 4 weeks
back then I was living in Tokyo traffic are worse than London,
the V4 is hot in summer,
it is heavy and seat height is high, the V4 is wide
the power output is not very friendly especially in stop start traffic in busy city, or may be I was very use to my Monster S2R
eventually swap for a Yamaha dragstar

Many moons back, I bought a GSX 400F - the sort of baby Katana styled four pot (not the twin). Started to regret my decision around half way home - seemed like a million revs and loads of noise equalled nothing much happening. A day or two later, a good mate popped round... asked if I knew of anyone selling a cheap bike... Turned out he'd owned a 400F previously and loved it 'til writing it off. Job done.
More recently, I bought a Guzzi California. Rode it two hundred miles home in absolutely biblical rain and hated every moment. That may have been what set me against it. That or the general tractor like qualities - and that's coming from a Harley rider. Either way, I cleaned it up, stripped the luggage and sold it about a week later for a small profit. Still have the luggage in my loft...

CBR900RRW Fireblade (1999). Bought it new and it looked fabulous in its "Cadburys Boost" blue, white and Gold. Just couldn't get on with the vague feel from the front end due to the 16" wheel. I had no confidence riding it. Sold it 11 months later for a ZX9R which I kept for 17 years.
