I've got fairly newish P Zero R02s on the front - they have a very pronounced sidewall/rim protection. I just can't find the rears in R02 format, only R01 - any idea why? My rears are 295/30 ZR19 P Zero. I rather want them to match visually.

Yeah it turns out I put the writing fronts on. Should have been R01 not R02

Will try PS4 s on the back.

I think you'd need to be a far better driver than I (and going very much faster) to feel whatever minute difference there may be.

Totally see the appeal of their matching visually mind you.
That was the whole point - you are correct - aesthetics. They all cost pretty much the same.

I've got the back out several times on motorway roundabouts and its a non event that I don't think has much to do with the tyres - more the traction control. You can feel a slight deadness in the throttle as it gathers itself back up again :-)

Amusing, but the P-Zero on those is a bit crap by modern standards.
Yeah - read that. It's just what it came with and the official Audi recommendation (or one of), so that's what I bought when replacing the fronts.

TBF - you could fit chinese remoulds on it and she'd still grip like st to a blanket within the bounds of road driving.
