I just want iTunes to be better with podcasts. Currently it's crippled by its reliance on a computer copy of itunes. Why can I not have subscriptions to podcasts on the iphone? It's a tiny step to make it check for updates with exactly the same behaviour as the app store. Currently I have to manually check every podcast (why is there no favourites function?) using the search. It's tedious, and the kind of thing I expect windows mobile to do.
Maybe some ringtones that weren't chosen by a five year old would be nice.

If its getting a media event, it'll have more in it, like 2 did with the App store. I'm hoping there will be a beta available from Thursday so I can give it a play...

I don't understand why we can't simply choose music from our iTunes to use as ringtones, text message tones, etc. Probably down to some music industry legal nonsense relating to how the tracks are allowed to be used.MitchT said:

I got offered a free upgrade from my 3G to 3GS but can't really see the point at the moment. Might as well wait for the next revision of it.
That's exactly the situation I'm in at the moment - can upgrade in about a month's time (16gb 3G at the moment) and see no reason at all to go to 3GS, might as well get a cheaper rental for a few months and then see about the 4th Generation iPhone?!I got offered a free upgrade from my 3G to 3GS but can't really see the point at the moment. Probably in June. By the way, I think the OS 4.0 is only being announced on Thursday and probably won't be available to download til June too. Could be wrong mind, I usually am.
