20V Turbo the only one to get, but the Turbo's do blow up and can be expensive to fix. Bloody good fun 4 seater family car, which is why when i got a family i got a Tuscan.
Do they really?
Only ever known two to "blow up" and this was probably as a result of over modifying the engine. The Coupe 20VT is excellent value for money, like most high performance cars, provided it's well looked after it is not that much of a problem. The main myths surrounding these cars is that the cambelt change costs 1500 pounds, this is not true, there are plenty of Independant specialists who can carry this work out for about 400 pounds with the engine still in the car! I ran mine for over a year with no problems whatsoever, it was superb. Pricewise they are a bargain (like the GTV), you can pick up a last of the line Plus model for around 10k, great value...
