The TPs denied making a complaint, but none stated the allegations were unfounded. Indeed it was Wollf's big mouth at a TP meeting which alerted other teams to the problem.
Merc/Wollfs threaten legal action. Allegations dropped/dismissed.

Bernie's roots were in motoring and motor racing - not media management or media ownership, although he ended up doing those things later.
For all his faults (and he had very many faults) he was always concerned about keeping F1 going as a sport.

Every one of the other nine F1 teams issued a statement confirming they had made no complaints about information being passed and expressing unanimous support for the F1 Academy.
