Plans really do know what they are doing. Expensive, but worth it IMO.

I might try Back on Track at some point to compare.

Two reasons - practicality (Yoda literally doesn't fit) and my flippin' neck spasms after every drive, finally had enough of it (old neck injury).

Ah. Well, plenty more fish in the sea as they say... So, what will it be? A Boxster wink

Oh, don't tempt me wink

To be fair, the Boxster will disappoint after the VX220. It would be too soft and forgiving I suspect.

Perhaps an Evo. However, you get so much less for your money compared to the Impreza... Your going to face a tough choice I reckon smile

I'm still mourning the VX... It doesn't feel right uploading pics so soon...

Alright I'll chuck a sneeky one up when I'm not the phone.

Black, excellent. Get that mapped and it will be quicker than your old STi. They develop loads of torque those 2.5 engines.

You're right, they are torquey and have no lag really unlike my STi. I'm probably going to save for a Prodrive kit which should make it fast enough (~ 300 ft lbs!).

Yeah I did it quickly as I loved the VX, and really didn't want to get rid of her. She was running brilliantly too, all niggles were sorted but it was just the wrong time to own it.

If you want to take a look around the Wagon to see if you like it, let me know.

Expect something like this:

You should be able to make nearly 290bhp & 350ft/lbs with the standard prodrive mods. I have been in a mates one that was mapped to this level (it was actually a GB270), and it was incredibly quick in the gears. Get the bits on ebay and then mail JGM (Simon Roe).

fair play mate, and if it wasn't working for you then its a decision that needed to be made. Where did you advertise it to sell it so quick?

that sounds good to me, will have to sort something out mate. Just had a provisional date for the parts in to get my ar repaired fter its little incident back in may... 26th of this month frown as much as I want to keep the car, i feel a little agreeved that now the decision has been made, i have a wait before even being able to advertise it

No worries Andy.

I PX'd the VX and got a reasonable price. I had a few dheads contact me when I put my old Impreza up for sale and couldn't be bothered with the hassle of private sale. Mind you, I doubt the same sort of person would be interested in a VX so you might be fine putting it on PH / Autotrader etc.
