I had a quick test, although I did manage a one shot kill!
Scope horrible so switched to iron sights using the alternate fire button. Seemed to have a straight pull like a ross too?
Might have imagined the last bit though, was quite pissed by the time it actually downloaded last night.

The new levels are dreadful. Talk about unbalanced! If you get on a team in Provence that just wants to sit on edge of E and D in vehicles it’s impossible to win so those working as a team cap ABC and defend against minimal force. It’s laughably bad.

I'm much the same, I'm liking the new guns (not so much the side arms, gadgets and grenades which seem like gimmicks) but the maps aren't really doing it for me at all. As soon I get all the guns to level 10 I’m out.
I keep playing but I'm not getting the enjoyment I used to.

Once upgraded, the new aircraft are pretty lethal with the M8 rockets. P51 seems to just shred wings off BF109s too. Sounds insane. There's a bug at the moment though where if you use no-tracer rounds you can actually end up invisible. I don't think much to the greyhound, but the Puma with anti-tank cannon has caught me out in a Sherman a few times now. Fast enough to flank you on an objective and put a round into your weak spot before you get chance to see them. Fast rate of fire too. If they hit you in the turret first you'll be dead by the time you're facing them.

Well it's been quiet, is anyone still playing?
They've just added community games and along with it the ability to choose to have no weapons or gadgets etc in regular games.
This holds zero appeal to me as I'm more of a "John Matrix arriving at Arius' island hideout" kind of chap when it comes to my need for weapons but presumably there's a demand for a grenade only game for some people and I know knife, infantry only and hardcore style games used to be popular (just not with me) so maybe this last ditch attempt to please their players will be a success? I guess it'll be handy for those hard to get unlocks or pretty skins by forcing people to just use one weapon.
The new fall update also adds two more "Elites" (one is Captain Birdseye I think) which the Definitive Edition owners get for free, those of us stupid enough to invest in the Deluxe Edition right at the start obviously continue to get nothing... sorry, you get a red beret.

I’m still playing quite a bit. Always used to be a support class every time so only recently worked through the medic class and now building assault.
Really struggling to get into planes and tanks enough to build up their specialisations. Only got one or two tanks up to level 4 and no planes beyond level 1. That’s causing a bit of frustration at the mo!

Yeah, vehicles are hard, particularly planes. Looked at my stats the other day and I've got twice as many kills running over people with an unarmed truck as I have in a spitfire Really struggling to get into planes and tanks enough to build up their specialisations. The exception was the ju-88 which is just dirty, if you can get on a server without s
t hot fighter boys on, and/or have a couple of buddies to man the guns.Tanks I've always done alright in, but again it's massively improved with a machinegunner.

Dont bother - i play BF5 every thurs night with my buddy for a few hours, and last week at the end of the night we thought we'd finish off with a round of firestorm. Well after about 8 minutes of trying to find enough other players to make a game, we just gave up and crashed out.My favourite thing about the game at the moment is that i have my US and German troops wearing shorts, whatever the map or kit. Sadly there is no shorts option for my British soldier (which is the very one you'd expect to be wearing shorts... and sandals)
