What?! Cyberpunk is so much better looking than Starfield!

I'm glad cyberpunk doesn't use the Starfield creation 2 graphics engine - as a 1080Ti owner I wouldn't be able to play cyberpunk if it did.......

No, I don't think so. Starfield's graphics look 'cleaner' and more detailed. Round things are round, Cyberpunks explosive cylinders are octagonal, you can read computer screens on Starfield, with Cyberpunk it is just gibberish, for example.

The lighting is better in Starfield too.

Maybe it just me. I think the game is excellent, prefer it, but the graphics don't seem quite so nice. Playing both on XBox X.

Get your eyes checked, starfield looks like it's built on a 20 year old engine (because it is). The trees are cardboard cutouts, stiff faces, ropey animations - interiors can look good (but same stuff repeated through the galaxy) but outdoors looks like a ps3 game. Im.guessing cyberpunk had to be downgraded a lot for last gen compared to starfield though.

Really wish the vehicle handling in cyperpunk was better, it's a bit weird.

Eyes are just fine. I still prefer Starfield visually.

Anyone else think Starfield's graphics look gorgeous on planets / bases & caves; but the main areas on Jamesion look quite basic?

I am very keen to get back into Cyberpunk within the next month. First need to finish Alan Wake 2 & restart Jedi.

I've only tackled starfield on Xbox one with cloud gaming, so definitely not the ideal weapon of choice there hehe
It looks fine, but it's a bit "generic" sci-fi style wise.

Cyberpunk might seem a bit clunkier, especially on some consoles (I'm on PS4 pro with that), but it does look like there was a heck of a lot of work went into designing the city and building something unique

Starfields graphics look cleaner because they aren’t particularly taxing on your system. A lot of copy and paste and imo pretty bland map design.

Night city is one of the greatest settings for a game I’ve played (bar launch ofcourse) the whole neon glow, advertisement and lighting that goes with it would always have to be paired back to be able to run. Screenshots I’ve seen with people with rtx4090’s and rtx on the game looks incredible

I have not long got back into cyberpunk. Only thing I am not liking is the regular crashes.

No mods installed and done a clean install. Anyone any idea’s?

I've had a few on 2.0, rarer since the patch. Normally seem to be a memory leak as my PC has been slowing down before then. Aside from that it's been fine and with an i7 7700 CPU I'm processor limited performance wise, which does not help.

It usually stays pretty stable until it just stops. Generally in lighting heavy/the cut scene multi choice talking bits.

Have a 5900x and a 3080fe so hopefully not processor/gpu issue.

I have the same GPU. Have you checked your graphics settings ? (I am running 4k, but then see no difference if I drop to HD due to the CPU). Also if you have NVIDIA Geoforce Experience running on your PC try bringing the dashboard up in advanced mode and keep an eye on the settings. I've always thought mine runs a little hot.

no joy with that either. Everything sits flat on perf scan and then just dies on me.

I'm assuming you've tried uninstalling an re-installing and it looks like it's possibly conflicting with something in/on your system.

Yes clean install on an ssd reduced the crashing but has not stopped it completely.

Try AMD chipset drivers from the AMD page rather than motherboard page.

If you are running path tracing ray tracing this is a must - https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/10490

Just drop the 000_UltraPlus-Insane.ini file into the correct folder as stated above, it's all you have to do.
