I'm having a good play with an XR2.

The 243PI car was 3.34 around Spa. So far I've managed to get that down to 3.19 (293PI). I'm hoping to add everything to the car to see how fast I can make it.

I'm interested to see what the max PI will be. I then plan to find a FWD hot hatch with the same PI and see how that fares in comparison.
Hadn’t played this in ages & I cheated my way to about 20 million credits the last time I played, so it was nice to see you can now just tune up everything so long as you have the cash. I just engine swapped and maxed out the XR2 so can let you know later what the spec is if you aren’t at that level yet.

I also tried a 1000+ bhp Audi estate. She pops a bit!

They are going after cheaters now, so if you take the pi$$, beware. I did the same, but only enough to get me started on the good stuff (about 400,000). I'm now at 4,000,000 and haven't cheated since, so it's quite easy to get a decent CI once you have some ooomph in your garage smile .

I'm not able to play much at the moment, but I hope to have another go soon.

What was the max PI on your XR2?

Try this link to see the Fiesta doing over 200 mph.

Didn't bother tuning etc so it's a right handful.

Imagine lots of flames, and a finish line. The last 10 seconds is how I want to pop my mortal coil - perhaps on my roof, for added remembrance smile .

Does Anyone have any pointers as far as wheel settings go please? I’ve googled and it’s a minefield of very differing opinions.

The in game option “explanations” aren’t worded very well. Any guidance or at least a baseline to start from would be massively appreciated

Thank you
coffee

Logitech G923 btw.

Its gunna depend on your driving style and your preferences, when i first got the game i listened to all the wheel set up youtube vids and ended up on a set up a thought was ok and it worked for a while but wasn't quite right, so i started again and I've ended up with a setup that's almost default settings!
Reset the wheel to standard, set aside an hour and drive a 'normal' ish car (probably around the nurburgring!!) that you enjoy and find out what doesn't work for you and adjust a little at a time, use the force feed back heads up display and make sure that its mostly smooth on the graph readout, dead zones are the first to work out, the car shouldn't be jumping from side to side, good luck, G920btw

Cheers buddy.
Yeah was on it for about 3hrs last night running laps of Brands Hatch while making adjustments trying to get the feeling close to what I’m used to on GT7 with a G29.
Ended up setting back to default as something just wasn’t right.

I’ll be in it again tonight and will keep tinkering.
Thanks again
