Yes. I think (not certain) there is a small blue spot where they are going to hit so I ran from a few earlier and lived.....

But more often by my squad mates dropping bombs etc on me cause my death.. Then they helpfully reinforce me 200 yards from where I died so I have to run back and collect my Rover and Stalwart..........

At least you get them back. I seem to get random teammates that like taking my stuff if I die.

Had a couple of games like this last night, made far worse by my dying within a minute of getting my kit dropped so it had a cool down !

Made worse by it being my own team dropping bombs on me which caused my death.......

We now have volcanoes and fire tornados!

Good to see the devs adding new bits to the game relatively early into its sale.

We also have a viable replacement for the Breaker in the new warbond. The Sickle is a superb weapon - practically zero recoil and, if you don't let it overheat, you also have theoretically infinite ammo.

I've also been really enjoying the arcthrower since the railgun nerf although, I have been known to accidently fry my teammates with it hehe !!

The elite/armoured enemy changes have been welcome, and I like that I can 1 shot a charger now if there are EATs laying around (I've noticed that people running the EAT tend to call them in frequently for everyone to use.)

Yes I use the sickle now and am saving up for the infinite gun.....

I have also found the Laser support weapon can kill chargers.... Helpful... But the EAT is the best way to take them out..

The EAT has a really short cooldown so always call them down even if they go unused.

They are very handy for taking out shrieker nests from afar.
You really don't want to get close to these, it feels like they need a little nerfing, they are slightly tricky on their own, but just annoying when you have both shriekers and all the other usual bugs attacking frown

Had a round yesterday where we all ran the EAT. The map was littered with them.......

Downloaded and tried the first mission earlier. I was solo but couldn't extract due to a 'fire tornado' being in the vicinity and killing me anytime I got near the extraction point. Then it came up with a message that it left because I didn't extract in time.

I turned it off.

Most of the reviews must've been using PC footage too because the game looks pretty basic on PS5.

PM me your PS Name and I will happily go online one evening and show you the ropes (well, as far as I know them anyway). You will need a Mic.

Just downloaded this.

Not really sure what is happening most of the time, what I'm doing or where I'm going. The stratagems seem over complex to deploy, are they they same every time so you learn the key strokes? One time I had to turn a radar but the game gave no clues as to where to or how much. There are little dots on the map and most of them just seem to pop up a message that doesn't do anything. Someone was asking me for help, didn't realise he was asking me until I spotted I was A1, then I couldn't figure out who was asking for help.

Then it crashed to desktop.

I'm sure I'll work it out but it's a lot to take on at the moment.

DO you use a Mic?

Strats are the same, you learn them indeed especially reinforce which I can use whist running from attackers...

The radar tower will beep differently when it is turned into the range required. If you look at the terminal it also shows you where it is and where it needs to go.

Mics are however a lot easier in the main.

The dots on the map are coloured, that matches up with the players so you can ID who they are and where they are.

Usually the game IDs the objective but some you find just as luck (good or bad)...

The Mini-game objectives (like move the radar, or move the icon on the grid) are not explained, so it took me a while to work it out.

There is also another one, I think it's the generator, where you've got 5 red squares on the screen you need to enabled (fuses, I think) - but while pressing "up" enables the first one, as that's common across all terminals to enable/press, it's not clear that you need to press "right" to move to the next one....at least it wasn't for me wink

So yeah, it's a little tricky, but you'll get the hang of it. Stick with it....it's brilliant once you get in the rhythm

Cheers.

How do you detach yourself from terminals and pump stations. I press E to get on them no problem but when I've done what I need to do I can't seem to get off again.

Not been back on PS5 for weeks, so my PS+ has probably renewed, which seems to be the case any time I try to get into PS gaming - buy a game, give up quickly, let PS+ renew for a few months, then cancel biggrin

I've been a little bit underwhelmed with the new warbond offerings so far. I've unlocked the adjudicator marksman rifle, thermite grenade and eruptor rifle. The termite grenade does quite a bit of damage but, it's damage over time so won't necessarily save you in a pinch.

Can't see me using it over stun grenades. The eruptor hits like a truck, and can kill fabricators and close bugholes but, god help you if you need to deal with multiple enemies at close quarters. It doesn't handle that well either, it feels kind of clunky.

Some of the ship upgrades look nice but, veeery expensive, all requiring 15 super samples and a silly amount of common and rare samples.

The problem with the eruptor is its a primary weapon and its a terrible primary weapon, so you need a support weapon as a primary and they are mostly bad as primary weapons!

Exactly. Stalwart might work I suppose but, using a regular primary like the sickle or scorcher and an autocannon is going to be a more effective combination, as long as you don't mind using the backpack slot for the autocannon.
