Yup, start on hards unless it's raining then it's your choice from there smile
Wonders will never cease!

I've not driven the car on hard tyres yet so prepare for me bowling through the pack and flying off on that first right hander from the grid... paperbag

I’m not going to say the exact number of laps I started trying to beat Liams time on rivals, but it’s wayyy over 100.

Happy with my lap time for now and I know I’ve got a 4.13 in me somewhere.

How do I get everyone on rivals, do I have to be friends with everyone?

hehe you’ve just made me jump on to see if I can get a 4:13, many skipped laps after exploring track limits later I finally got a 4:13.708, there’s definitely some more time to come off there too, I can’t get the second set of ‘esses’ right, lost .400 through there alone!

Yeah if you add everyone from the list, we will all show up on the friends tab on the rivals leaderboard thumbup

Can the weather change? Would a dry line start to appear?

Has anybody played long enough to find out?

Drive a 10 lap race with the settings I posted a while back then get back to me......

Also, look at some of my comments (which are based on testing) as this race could potentially be absolutely wild!!

150 lap starts tonight easy.

Gave up and put in a lap with using rewinds to get lines absolutely spot on etc etc and got a 4:12.989. Never going to happen in a racing environment, but nice to know it could hehe.

I am still yet to try medium and soft compounds though, so maybe there will be a bit more to gain using those?

Is there any way of popping in to spectate these things. I think I'd be the drizzling sts with something quick and not sure I could focus for the 2.4hrs?

I don't think you can spectate as such, but just join in anyway and see how long you last in the race smile I'm fully expecting my PC to st a brick after about an hour and freeze or boot me out of the game like after the last C460 championship round - heading down to Eau Rouge in a public lobby, game freezes then reloads with my car flying in to the barriers on the outside... good fun!

The best I've been able to do is view other people's laps.

I don't personally have the bandwidth but but maybe one of the guys could stream it to twitch?

Surely, you can only stream what you are seeing. Namely, your view of the track. Is there a way to see the race from a spectator's point of view? Even, after the event?

I think it was Rene who posted Suzuka in Minis with an Aston flying around the track, but even that was from his chase cam.

It's a shame, really, because you can view multiple angles of others' single laps in Rivals. I suppose it's all down to bandwidth and server space.

It will be something for the future, as streaming is getting faster and server space is getting larger. We couldn't have dreamt of complaining about this when we had dial-up modems and 1.44Mb floppies smile .
