Any recommendations for small dent repair, ideally in Perthshire or Aberdeen? Glasgow or Edinburgh possibly do-able too. I've done a quick search, but I'm aware that the big franchises seem to change hands often and it does come down to the skill of the individual.
Someone has doored the VW Caravelle that I only picked up a week ago. Two small but annoying dents which don't appear to have broken the surface.

His van is often just round the corner from me - I thought he was mobile working from the house.
Just while I am on, I have to give a mention -again - to Craig at Gilmour Engineering in Cambuslang for saving my bacon yet again. A great wee old school engineering shop - specialised in gearbox repairs but is honest enough to trust with anything. Did a great job on my cylinder heads for my Sprint after a couple of cambelt disasters and a washer ingestion.........

Hi all. I'm trying to get MB Jarvie in Glasgow on the phone but having no joy and the website isn't loading. Are they defunked?
Nope, alive and probably just very busy. Had my MOT done there last month and picked up my car from a full Hunter alignment today.I had no problems with the website and booked online, they're one of the few garages I've found that seem to know how to correspond by email, try adam@mbjarvie.co.uk

There have been a number of emails going back and forward, but still no quote. Quite frustrating.
Live in the beautiful Kingdom of Fife and looking to buy a Aston Martin V8 Vantage in the spring so I'm beginning to do my research. Is it really still only the case that Scotland has a dealer and one indie? Edinburgh is handy but willing to travel for the right service.
Any up to date information on what they are both like now? Who should I speak to for buying advice and maybe an inspection of the right car?
Cheers, Hamish.
