Just a reminder,

All must have Photo ID,
Drivers must bring their driving license,
All who go on track must have a helmet,
All cars must have a fire extinguisher secured inside.

Thanks

See you all on track!!

Can anybody recomend a tyre fitting garage around Swafham/Downham Market area's that will be open late this Saturday afternoon (tween 4-5) and are happy doing just some tyre swap's for a small amount of change..
Will need to change the rubber after Saturday in anticipation of Sundays run evil

Well, what a grand day of sunshine and fun with cars, with many thanks to Marham and all the volunteers who made it possible. The MGA ran nicely and behaved itself, lots of nice cars and old friends, what could be better to do on a Saturday! Well organised as ever, with no delays getting in this time for people - but don't be tempted to do a lastminute.com - still allow plenty of time to get in, get set up and be in time for the driver's brief.

A few cars ran into the usual problems of needing to head out and back for refuel and others with some serious tyre wear, with one or two other notables of a volvo estate depositing its fluids and an EVO with a comprehensively exploded engine. Hannah's Cobra suffered from a nasty engine noise, which sounded like a valve or similar - hope it's not serious and that it got you home OK.

Great ride in Rob G's Nove GTE - talk about fun in a pocket rocket, and another in PEter Scott's TVR Cerbera just added to the enjoyment of the day.

For those going tomorrow, have a great day, and see you all at the next one!

Thanks Mark for your very kind words. Great to see you again. I had a really enjoyable day today. I don't know,,,,, it just seemed to go really well. We've got a really good team helping us and it makes it all so much easier.

Are you coming tomorrow???

Please arrive in plenty of time tomorrow. And please bring Photo ID and check the list before you set off. We had to turn a few cars away today due to lack of ID.

Cheers

That was a great day, for those who missed it, it was sunshine and pretty much open pin lane all day.

the track layout has moved slightly, the general plan is the same, but the last hairpin section before the pits has been moved, as previously it did cross a small drainage channel.

you still get to slide across the "piano keys" which makes it a little more musical.

An amazing day, thanks to all who were involved in the organisation, both here and at Marham

Superb day today, thanks to all who made it happen. 170miles on track, much of it with little/no traffic in the way. 165mph confirmed by the GPS 2/3rds of the way along the straight, one pair of tyres completely dead and another four tyres (new only 24 hours ago) looking distinctly second hand. I've got a few odd jobs to sort out in the morning to get ready but I'll be back for Sunday afternoon.

I echo the above.
What a great day (again), Great friends, fantastic weather and mostly sensible track day drivers (oh and girls in shorts too).
My frogs engine with only 500 miles on it, performed admirably. It's so nice to now get more than 100 miles to the litre of oil.

Many thanks and praise to all those at Marham who gave up their weekend.
see you next time for sure

That was a great day. Many thanks to all who made us feel welcome, drivers, passengers, RAF, evrybody involved. I was impressed with it all and had great fun. Hope I didn't hold anyone up when I went for my spin!

I hope those with car problems get them sorted, many thanks to Tony for the trip in the Megabusa, hope you get it sorted soon.

Ian Marsh: many thanks for your encouragement by email too.

Well i have to agree with everyone above, it was a fantastic day today too (sunday).

Being new to trackdays (first time), I and my co-driver took it steady compared to the more experienced lads, but still had a lot of fun. Sorry to anybody that got held up behind us going into the corners but we did make a point of easing back on the straights to let the faster cornering cars go where neccessary.

Some of those little Clio's & Golfs seemed very sure footed compared to my old barge, but it was fun & gave us a chance to stretch her legs a bit 140 on the back straight a couple of times & could have been more if I hadn't lost my bottle & braked to early every time laugh

I only did 4 laps each session but the car stood it really well, no problems & didn't need the change any tyres (OK so I wasn't abusing it enough then biglaugh

Thanks from a newbie to the RAF guys, and Ian for sorting a place for us.

Brilliant day today (Sunday) Monza was performing at it's best and didn't miss a beat although It has a worse thirst than Oliver Reed!!!

150 track miles was probably my lowest ever (or very close to it) but more than likely due to the delayed start than lack of track time once it all got going

It was busy mind - sat people I reckon you struck lucky from a space perspective but more cars on track meant more overtaking opportunities and a chance to compare performance of your car v others

Marham did a cracking job holding this event again - they are the people and teams I'd like to see thanked

Thank you all for your very kind words. If it's OK i'm gonna print this thread off and show it to the station commander. We were very down on help this weekend so a massive thank you to those who stayed till the bitter end.

The two from the 205 that flipped are OK and have very stiff necks. Both went the hospital for checks and are on their way home now. Once again, thanks to all who responded so fast. They were there within seconds and we had fire, ambulance and track response cars all on scene within 2 minutes.

I hope you all return in April as we'd love you all to come back.

Cheers

Hey, just here to say today was a great day smile i was there with the cliosport.net guys, was nice to see so many there smile I lost a pair of sun glasses some point in the day (it was just after the track time finished, toilets or driver briefing area maybe?) They are a black pair of oakleys with gold lenses, if anyone has them, or knows who has them, and can get them back to me, there will be a small reward smile Let me know, d4nn3h@gmail.com

Hi guys!

Was one of the cars attending Marham over the weekend a white Porsche 911 GT3 RS with a "GT3 RS"-like number plate?
A friend noticed one today on the A11, with a PH sticker, on the back of a trailer smile
