I had my car detailed last week by Nick at Detail My Car (www.DetailMyCar.co.uk). Hopefully it's ok to post this recommendation here?

The car was treated to a full enhancement detail. Some stone chips were touched-up and the hazy headlights were returned to their former glory, the paintwork was polished & refined before sealant was applied, and as Nick is an approved & authorised CarPro detailer I opted for their top of the range CQuartz Finest paint protection. Wow!!!! The finish is sublime.

Nick is a pleasure to deal with, he took various pictures throughout the process so I could see each step and how the defects in the paintwork were addressed, and the results are simply incredible.

He has worked on various exotica in the not too distant past, including a Murcielago LP670-4 SV, a Diablo Roadster, a lovely Maserati Gran Turismo, and now my cherished Renaultsport Clio Trophy.

I have no hesitation in recommending him, so if you want to give your car the TLC it deserves then Nick is your man. Have a look at his website or find him on Facebook for more details (sorry, couldn't resist the pun)

I'll second that - Nick'd worked on all my cars over the last 3 years...I wouldn't use anyone else.

Just like to add my pennys worth! Just had my Z4 done by Nick at Detail My Car. Full enhancement & interior. He did a fantastic job, price is reasonable too smile He documented the whole job through photographs. You can see the results on his facebook page.

The cream interior was restored and now looks just stunning, totally refreshed, leather all cleaned & treated. Sorted out my hazy headlights and the finish to the body is just unreal, the blue paintwork can only be described as luscious! I cant stop looking at it.

No hesitation to recommended Nick, as well as being a great detailer, he is a top bloke as well. Look forward to going back there again in the future.

Thought I would add to this, Nick did a winter protection on my celica a couple of years ago and his attention to detail was great, really nice guy too. He was just doing the detailing in his spare time back then but looks to be doing it pretty well as a business now, love keeping up to date with his facebook page, he gets some pretty nice cars to work on!

Another big THUMBS UP for Nick.

He spent a couple of days working on my Boxster Spyder - correction, cquartz, interior and, with the help of one of his friends, Adam, replacing the decals - which you can't tell the difference from factory

Highly recommended, and now trying to avoid all the bugs so as not to get it messed up smile

I'll add my thanks too. Last week Nick squeezed in my nearly new Guards Red 981 Boxster and transformed a great car into something quite stunning. It's amazing what a few months lack of care from the first owner had done to the paint finish - probably even put it through a car wash! Now it looks even better than new, plus finished off with CQuartz finest paint sealant to hopefully keep it looking that way for a while.

Is it expensive to have a car detailed?

And another..! I've had Nick tidy up a couple of cars for me now, a MK5 Golf R32 last year and early this year MK6 Golf GTI. Great guy to deal with and fantastic results - So much so I insisted my dad gets his new pride & joy (Boxter) detailed which is booked in this weekend!

If you care about your car its worth every penny.

@Flux - Rough prices are on the website but best thing to do is drop him an email and he will give you a quote

Great job thanks Nick. A rather dirty Audi A5 now looks better than new. all the scratches and swirls caused by inferior garages have gone. Looking forward to having you work your magic on the Tuscan next.

Another big thumbs up from me. I was put in touch with DMC through a friend and promptly booked my M3 in for a winter detail as I don't have a garage and they are building lots of new houses near where I live which is leaving lots of dust in the air. I have been unable to keep the car clean. It’s frustrating when you get it clean and then don't drive it for a few days only for it to look awful again by the time you do come to use it.

To say I was impressed with the results of the Winter detail is an understatement. Nick prepared my car to a level that was far better than when I collected the car from the dealer when it was new! It’s been a few weeks now since I had the work done and I have done 250 miles in the car. I still haven't washed it since visiting DMC and its still looking remarkably clean and shiny. No dust stuck to it and no salt or muck from the roads either despite covering the miles.

When you pay for a service you expect it to be as good as advertised which is all too often not the case these days. Apart from exceeding my expectations the main reason I feel the need to post is the customer service. They were incredibly flexible around collection and drop off times and we had a great natter whilst I was onsite. It’s nice to deal with likeminded petrol heads who clearly love their work and enjoy working on your car as they appreciate it rather than just treating it as another job to invoice.

I will be going back!

Could not agree more. Nick has detailed my C63, my wife's SLK and when I had a completely stupid moment my Range Rover Sport Autobiography (me buying the car not Nick detailing it). He always does top job and I have no hesitation in recommending him. Superb work.

Another recommendation. Nick worked on my Elise back in the summer. It still looks good today, all it takes is a bit of a wash and it comes up brilliantly.

Another recommendation for Nick @ DMC who detailed, refurbed my wheels and painted the brake callipers on my RS4. He did a fantastic job!

Thanks Nick another fantastic job. Paint looks fluid on the curves of the car and the depth of colour is great.

I was looking at the shots Nick put on FB last night and have to say it looks fantastic. Perfect colour combo and now looking as good as it ever could judging by the photos.

Stunning!

I couldn’t recommend Nick at DMC enough (www.DetailMyCar.co.uk). He is a master of his art. I was quite nervous booking my car in with DMC for the simple reason that I don’t like people working on my car unless they know what I am like. I am very protective of my car, as I am sure most of you are.

Nicks knowledge of the cars and the products he uses is excellent and the big incentive for me was having every stage of the detail relayed back to me via Face Book. https://www.facebook.com/#!/DetailingUK From initial deep clean and paint depth readings to 3 stage machine polish to SwissVax Crystal Rock being applied.

I thought my car was clean before but now it’s as good as new.
