No need to worry it seems looking at the feedback. 99.7 over 3057 sales is darned good. Buy it, you'll like it. Mine never leaves my wrist now.
I just went for it, should have it in a couple of days. Cant wait!!biggrin

Am I right in thinking that a replacement strap for the Monster would need to be 20mm?

Really fancy one of the Watchworx leather numbers, did he ever get anymore of the orange stitched ones?
Yep 20mm

Not sure about the leather ones, didn't see them last time I visited. Mine is the rubber one with orange stitching from them

I bid on this custom Seiko, too late unfortunately...

(That's black lume on the bezel figures)

Here it is with another custom 'Stealth Monster'. Make of it what you will but I like them!

Those custome Monsters are interesting, not sure I like the bezel inserts on it though. I'm a big fan of the Night Monster, I keep waiting for one to come for sale on TZ.

hmm not bad, I certainly prefer the look of the case finish on those custom ones to the super-shiny finish on the NM. Makes them look quite tacky I felt, which is why I plumped for a normal silver OM in the end.

It's a charity auction held on watchuseek (I'll link later when off the phone), the first went for $470 and the black is auctioned in august.

Just bought a new Black Monster from Ebay seller "great-watch".

Arrived next day, exactly as described. Very pleased.

No connection with the seller, just a satisfied customer.
He has some nice watches in stock!

If only I had seen that before getting the Orange Monster!

Yes, that black 5 is a very good watch and gets rave reviews. It has a bit of a following here on PH, as a recent(ish) thread showed. smile

You'll enjoy it I susppect.

Damn, did I miss a more recent thread? frown woops. Yes it's coming in from America so a bit of a wait before I get to try it out.
