I think the Doomsday plane has been spotted on this thread. I've just seen this -
The USAF has officially awarded Nevada-based Sierra Nevada Corporation a contract to develop and produce a new “Doomsday” aircraft to replace the E-4B.
Officially known as the Survivable Airborne Operations Center (SAOC), the new aircraft will be hardened to withstand a nuclear attack and have all the secure communications equipment required to command the USA’s nuclear arsenal while airborne.
It is widely expected that the new platform will be based on a current commercial airliner design.
Boeing had previously considered bidding for this contract but withdrew in 2023, leaving Sierra Nevada as the sole bidder.

Yes, the Dragon Lady has a unique sound, witnessed many times on Ladies Mile, Akrotiri
Was that taking off? We used to go to Cyprus quite often, and visit ladies mile, you occasionally got a loud jet roar. It did certainly have a sound I didn't recognise. We get the Voyagers going over quite a few times of the day, they're quite distinctive as well.
Just had a Chinook go over (South Bucks). It took off from just outside Basingstoke, went up to RAF Benson before heading over the Chilterns and down to Pinewood. It then followed the A40 before taking the South Circular down to Kew where it's currently following the route of the Thames into central London. Very odd!
