If you sub he does all sorts, did a lovely thing a few years back with the Lancaster in Lincolnshire, has bee to Lakenheath many times, and the odd air show, but mainly he travels about doing commercials, he is not the best cameramen out there, a German guy does some staggering stuff from Rammstein to pick that, but is silent. What Jerry is is a fan who is living the dream, fair play to him and to see him yesterday was just pure joy at one time there were over quarter of a million people watching maybe more, and it couldn't happen to a nicer chap.
He was linked to every newspaper and also CNN in the USA, so he was possibly the biggest news worldwide for a few hours, I had countless people at work watching!!

Found this video of what was going on in the Qatar cockpit during one of the landings. I had no idea the pilot's inputs would be so intense.

That's from a B777 (or at least a twin jet) - and I think that it landed first time? The interesting Qatar story yesterday was the A380 that made it on its third attempt.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7qomalBFdg0

It does.It means geeks like me can have fun correcting him in the live comments - or even more fun - arguing with the other geeks.I've been watching Big Jets for around three years.
I dont think it matters at all, what would you rather have, a guy who knows everything about recalls, specs or a guy who shouts wow every time a pair of engines spool up, he is the right guy for what he does which is cater for people who like a bit of fun, there are too many plane nerds, geeks especially with regard to military stuff. But they are often the ones pushing the limits with cameras, places to film etc which ruin it for the bloke who knows very little.

The ones who are making the money are the hot female pilots. They’re all over YouTube and Instagram. 
There is also a not so good side to him sadly, he had a run in with a friend of mine in Amsterdam, and he also has a reputation for damaging things that get in his way, for instance part of a hedge that was on a piece of NT land, and when challenged, he replied that he had permission, which he didn't

Reminds me of that man with a narrowboat; a little bit of fame gave him an ego the size of a planet - until somebody filmed it!
Nobody’s perfect, but I enjoy his output. I’m not a subscriber but dip in and out now and then, particularly when he’s broadcasting something unusual, like the BA 747 LHR farewell in 2020. I remember watching when BA invited him in to the LHR hangar to live stream the arrival of the BOAC liveried 747 three years ago, so he’s obviously had good contacts within aviation for some time, not just the past week!

So true. Amazing what a pretty face combined with a tight blouse barely containing humongous boobs can achieve My friend who was a first officer tried the same thing in the hope of promotional freebies and a monetised channel - unfortunately she was a bit dumpy and plain looking so topped out at 35 subscribers.
