Just came across "Raised by Owls", tagline as "misspent youth in rural England". Tune that caught my eye was "I'm sorry I wore a Dying Fetus T-shirt to your baby's gender reveal party". It's actually rather banging extreme metal so worth a listen if you like that sort of thing, reading their back catalogue is good for a smile too.

Huge fan of Alex Terrible.
I've recently found myself listening to Sleep Token, which I know a few on here are into. It was courtesy of a Drumeo vid on YT with a chap trying to figure out the score to Hypnosis.
There's a lot to like there isn't there? But similarly there's a lot to dislike imo!
When it works, it works really rather well. But there are a lot of tracks of modern drivel pop, autotune effects and pop-rap, which can FRO for me. And it's a shame as when they get it right they have a distinctive enough sound all of their own that they don't need the foregettable filler imo.

I saw them in a 600 capacity venue in Glasgow in 2021, and in the Barrowlands last year, an unbelievable rise....

Yea quite like them, was never keen on that kind of symphonic stuff and suddenly clicked a while back and now find it a massive trip. Their drummer is particularly epic . Also love the Mental Cruelty album that had same producer.

Good call on 'Resolve' a few posts ago, really liking their stuff.
Ronnie is one of the biggest Bell***s in the industry, I won't listen to them purely on that basis but we shan't derail the thread getting on that topic. I would suggest reading Twitter for that if you wanted to know.
