Time attack Ultima at Oulton Park

Alex, rev zone look like they are doing a great job with your car from what i can see on there face book account.
i would think that if you had some sheet metal cut and bent to the required shape for the main plain, finished it with a return on the outside and made a small lip on the inner area to match the curve of the front body work it would not be to difficult to vacume bag some carbon over it and achieve a similar result. Rev Zone could probably the do similar ones for all the WRXs and 370Zs they have there. "Fiber glass industries" (FGI) on center rd will have all the gear you need.
as for the side skirts i think they look similar to the FEED ones you see on RX7s though they are likely to be a bit short,
maybe carbon wrapped gator board would be strong enough?
if not i have a Melbourne source for Aluminum cored honeycomb aluminum skinned panels. Have been meaning to try some carbon skins on the stuff just haven't gotten around to making the skins up and dropping them off for the trial.

Yeah, it's getting there. Should be driving in a couple of weeks. Just had first start of the engine, so all good there. i would think that if you had some sheet metal cut and bent to the required shape for the main plain, finished it with a return on the outside and made a small lip on the inner area to match the curve of the front body work it would not be to difficult to vacume bag some carbon over it and achieve a similar result. I would not get RevZone to do the body work, I will get Topstage to do it all in dry carbon. I can get everything made custom, I know, but I'd rather just buy off the shelf (tried and tested). I didn't buy the Ultima wing because anyway I am getting a custom wing made, so if I could just buy the cannards / scoops / sidesteps from somewhere, it'd be a lot easier.
