Thank you for the reply. I'll be here til end of June, then back again in August for another 4 or so months.
Good mix of machines here, from vintage to modern. The place, the people, the food, and the sunshine....I'm enjoying it so far

I think you will be very lucky if you can get into Malaysia before September, especially from Sing, my bet is the land crossings wil only be open to Malaysia citizens, for work, permit holders will face significantly longer restrictions.
Yeah... Has Malaysia now reversed some of the lockdown easing measures and tightening up again?Singapore is being VERY slow to relax measures despite there being basically zero infection in the community (excluding migrant worker dorms)
Malaysia is largely open, shops, pubs, two people at a table, sign in wear mask etc, but borders closed, and no inter state travel without police permission, so effectively highways closed to most people, hotels are closed. No movement on opening borders, covid is down to 10 cases a day amongst locals, but still a problem among foreign workers in company accommodation, like sing

interesting. I'm looking forward to at least one of VN MY PH or TH opening the border.cambodia now open but they have a shambolic entry system with $3,000 deposit.
