The first was superb, the rest rubbish, same as Jaws.
I actually quite like Jaws 2 (I also really like The Lost World) but neither are a patch on the originals I agree. The helicopter scene particularly in Jaws 2 is excellent, it's just a different type of film altogether.
Had a few good ones I've watched recently courtesy of recommendations from my girlfriend, she seems to have a knack for picking good stuff!
Firstly - Lupin.
This is a French-made series about a wealthy master thief/confidence trickster who models himself on the French "Gentleman Thief" Arsene Lupin of classic literature. He suddenly gets embroiled in a very "personal" theft against a powerful enemy whilst the police try to close a net around him.
Lots of shades of The Hustle crossed with the Scarlet Pimpernel, it's absolutely full of cliffhangers, re-winds to show you how seeming failures are actually a sneaky success, as well as a series of flashbacks showing how the main character came to be.
I've never seen such brilliant writing in turns of the plot twists you don't see coming, a definite recommend!
Secondly - Bodyguard
A BBC series from a few years ago, about a PTSD-suffering war veteran turned police office, who becomes Personal Protection Officer to a deeply unpopular and antagonistic Home Secretary whose politics he hates, all in the midst of a ramping terroism threat. Quite a few references to real life politics and events of 2018ish scattered around and about, but the main thing is the incredible amount of tension in each episode.
Thirdly - and on Prime rather than Netflix - Fast Charlie
This film feel like a throwback, a gory but darkly humorous affair in the mould of 00s Tarantino stuff like Django or Kill Billl.
Pierce Brosnan plays a Mississippi native (the Irish-tinged deep-south accent is a thing to behold) mafia assassin on the verge of retirement, who suddenly finds himself as the next target whilst also developing a love interest.
Nothing too cerebral but good entertainment nonetheless!

Not seen Fast Charlie but Lupin and The Bodyguard are both very good. Lupin a bit farfetched but it's well done and clever, and quite funny, too! Firstly - Lupin.

Unlocked: A Jail Experiment
Documentary about trying a different approach in a US correctional facility. Really impressive to see a sheriff put it all on the line in a country which definitely needs to address their criminal justice system.
Some great characters and heartwarming moments. Well worth a watch.
