Unsurprisingly, mine failed to make it past the "Your comment is awaiting moderation" page.
What a though, seriously, I bet he just spends all day being the pretentious "look at how helpful I am, saving the planet" bks. It pisses me off. I had an acquaintance who I went to school with who went off travelling to India, and when he got back he informed me, straight faced, that every time I drove my Range Rover I destroyed an acre of rainforest. I am not stting you, he genuinely believed this. Where do these people get their facts from?

The tit has just posted comments up stating that he has a family and doens't want the world destroyed by people who will be dead in 20 years time. What a fking loon.

I do love the way he hasn't commented on the hypocrisy (sp?) comment though lol! smile

I don't suppose you'd consider selling a case or five of this clearly inspirational nectar?

In fact, have you considered branching out into damson vodka? - you could really put the boot in after a few snorts of that stuff.

Rightly, or wrongly, I left a comment on said blog. I doubt it'll be posted on there:

Now, listen here you miserable damp-patch waste of oxygen (and unwelcome emitter of CO2 from your slack-jawed liberalist mouth). I'm fine with you filling your wellington boots, seeing the world, and contributing to man-made CO2 emissions, as - you are probably no doubt not aware - this trace gas has fk all to do with climate change. What you also fail to understand is that climate changes. It always has done, and always will, no matter how many cars we drive, how much meat we consume, nor how much st-fuelled methane spouts from your mouth and arse. The climate change debate is not over. The "science" is not fking settled as proved by Jones / Briffa / Osbourne / Mann et al, and in fifty years time when you're freezing your drooping man-tits off in the month of July, you'll think to yourself, 'maybe I should have driven a bigger car and consumed more beef'. In the meantime, you keep piss arsing around the globe whilst preaching your environmentalist dogma. Us "older" lot will keep questioning the politics and science behind your blinkered beliefs, and keep getting pissed off with your bandwidth thievery

A quality rant. cool Its got all the necessary elements and the added patronising tone makes it a winner in my book : 9/10

Im 27 and think mmgw is a lot of rubbish propogated by corrupt scientists (proven) and thick left wing hippies.

Also to say that older generations dont care about the future generations is ridiculous, you know that millions died for idiots like you to have the right to spout your nonsense in ww2 where they fought against the Nazis right? You make me sick. Has it not crossed your tiny little mind that they might well have a different opinion based up calm reasoned judgement and experience brought to them by dint of their age? No, I thought not.

Also calling people climate change deniers is in extremely poor taste, having a different opinion on a widely debated topic is perfectly valid and using a turn of phrase which likens us to people who deny the holocaust is, and I make no apologies for my language here, absolutely fking disgraceful. You sir are a very stupid and ignorant young man.

Global warming / climate change in itself is happening. However, they amount of control or influence we have over it is minimal, if any. FYI, MMGW is Man made global warming, it tends to get thrown around a lot and some people misinterpret it.

Given the recent question marks over weather station data I'm no longer confident that even that much is true.

Localised, and without any scientific data, personally I feel that it is happening. I feel that there is less snow in the UK now as opposed to 30 years ago and weather is becoming less seasonal. Where I live, we have had the quietest hurricane season for some time. The climate is changing, but it is much more likely to be due to sun spots and changing air/sea currents than anything else. Obviously there is reasonable doubt over the earth getting hotter/colder and someone else will come along and say "But it's colder where I live" etc but that is just my personal opinion.

Just posted this

You ill-informed, hypocritical little ahole. Don’t worry too much though, your saviour-of-the-world Obama has just arrived at the Copenhagen limousinefest in his BOEING 747 to make everything alright. You sad little boy. Read this in twenty years and realise what a fool you were.

I'm not actually THAT old yet and I'm sure I wasn't such a tt when I was his age.

invite him over for a "chat"!

As for the baby killers, perhaps we can ask him how many babies have died because their parents could not afford to feed them due to the rise in food prices due to Greeny Biofuel production?

We can try but I would be very surprised if any comments appeared, green blogs tend to be quite tightly controlled.
They are. About as freedom-of-speechy as the BBC.

What's the point? You won't convince this chap to your line of thinking any more than he'll persuade you to think like him.
