What a though, seriously, I bet he just spends all day being the pretentious "look at how helpful I am, saving the planet" bks. It pisses me off. I had an acquaintance who I went to school with who went off travelling to India, and when he got back he informed me, straight faced, that every time I drove my Range Rover I destroyed an acre of rainforest. I am not stting you, he genuinely believed this. Where do these people get their facts from?

Rightly, or wrongly, I left a comment on said blog. I doubt it'll be posted on there:

Now, listen here you miserable damp-patch waste of oxygen (and unwelcome emitter of CO2 from your slack-jawed liberalist mouth). I'm fine with you filling your wellington boots, seeing the world, and contributing to man-made CO2 emissions, as - you are probably no doubt not aware - this trace gas has fk all to do with climate change. What you also fail to understand is that climate changes. It always has done, and always will, no matter how many cars we drive, how much meat we consume, nor how much st-fuelled methane spouts from your mouth and arse. The climate change debate is not over. The "science" is not fking settled as proved by Jones / Briffa / Osbourne / Mann et al, and in fifty years time when you're freezing your drooping man-tits off in the month of July, you'll think to yourself, 'maybe I should have driven a bigger car and consumed more beef'. In the meantime, you keep piss arsing around the globe whilst preaching your environmentalist dogma. Us "older" lot will keep questioning the politics and science behind your blinkered beliefs, and keep getting pissed off with your bandwidth thievery

Also calling people climate change deniers is in extremely poor taste, having a different opinion on a widely debated topic is perfectly valid and using a turn of phrase which likens us to people who deny the holocaust is, and I make no apologies for my language here, absolutely fking disgraceful. 22 here and believe it's happening but I don't think it's anywhere near as much of an issue as they seem to make out

Given the recent question marks over weather station data I'm no longer confident that even that much is true.
