My high flow temp is your return temp 35/27 today at for 19c 30/22 for 14c room temp
My boiler min is 39 - below that is OFFEven at 55 it only runs for 4 mins before it overshoots - it’s then off for 11 mins until return temp hits below 37 deg
Only feeding 4 rads in rooms that haven’t reached target temp yet (plus the rads that are getting trickled with almost shut trv’s)
I think I’ll try range rating first and see if I can get a longer slower burn - the slow fast slow on the boiler results in getting to 55 very quickly once it hits 57 it shuts down

Mine is set to 12c and it's not been clicking on lately so it must be a heatwave.
Twelve? That's ridiculous. What are you, a penguin?Super Sonic said:

Twelve? That's ridiculous. What are you, a penguin? You acclimatise to temperatures fairly quickly (unless you are Mrs BC - that's a whole different ball game) - go on holiday and what is bloody hot in the first few days quickly become bearable.
I'm quite comfortable now in rooms with temps from 17.0 to 18.5 as long as there are no drafts - it gets to 19.5 and I start to think it's too hot.
Go back to 2021 and I'd have said it was cold at anything below 21

Heating is still on and judging by the weather forecast, it will remain on until at least the end of next week. By mid-April, I'd normally expect to have the hearing off for the next six months.
Ours is off via the timer, we just occasionally hit the boost button. Probably average an hour a day. Most of the TRV's are set to 2 though, so it's really just the living room we're heating.Edited by 98elise on Friday 14th April 13:58

No panic whenever you get time is fineWill get pi shipped on Monday btw (sorry been bit too busy)
In other news
Today is the first evening with heating being on - some good solar gain in the south facing side of the house meant we didn't put it on - felt like spring had properly arrived.....
Just HW for 24 mins so gas usage was just 12.5 kWh for the whole day.

Had mine off since the start of February and been keeping it down low before then.
Estimated bill comes in at £650, actual bill after meter reading £230.
Each to their own, I'd rather spend a few quid and live in comfort than be cold for 6 months of the year. Estimated bill comes in at £650, actual bill after meter reading £230.
Heating still on every eve this week which is annoying fir the end of April.
