I've had IAM training but it's near impossible to get to now - they want you there at the crack of dawn Sunday morning and I just can't do that. (Nursing logistics). I don't know how to work out if my reactions have slowed down (or indeed if they're only unacceptably slow when tired, and if so how tired)...

BVD; friend Of me has just been in an almost identical situation and he persuaded a driving instructor to come for a drive, so it can be done! I guess it's just finding one that's difficult.

I just suggested my two car idea to The Wife (the one I talked about with Wuff and Aizle at the weekend). The childish grin on her face said that she thought that it's a brilliant idea, but she did say that she wanted a 4 door car.
A mate at work has one of the things I'm suggesting for her. I might ask him if we can try putting the car seats in the back of his and trying it out for space...

A driving instructor would be best though as they have experience of the full driving spectrum.

Pixels die on the DIS screen (between the speedo/rev counter, generally means a new screen if you can't live with it. Can change yourself if handy with a soldering iron, but generally not particularly painful. I had these on mine. "Concert" system is a PITA, with no easy fix IIRC. Display screen is a very common problem... soldering is fiddly, though, IIRC. Found out why is was so cheap yet? I know with mine, it never quite felt like you got full power/boost (although still packed quite a punch!) when we bought it - turns out there were various faults with relatively non-noticable things such as (insert name that I've forgotten) sensors.

At a guess.... Mass Air Flow MAFs

ooO them's sounds about right! Fuel to air ratios all to pot? (Although, that could have been a fault on the M3, and my S4 was something different...! )
