From Sky: "Walcott won't be sold. Winger staying put."

"Arsenal and Theo Walcott have reached a short-term agreement which means he won't leave the club this week. "

January, then?

AW is at the youngsters game tonight. Perhaps TW is upset that there's a whiz kid winger knocking at the first team door: Serge Gnabry.

Which is why I didn't say AW is 'watching the kids...'

Apparently they're also checking out striker, Chuba Akpom.

Who scored twice in a 3-0 win. I think Wenger did say he will be watching every game, which isnt exactly a surprise!

Interesting read on the Walcott situation

http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premie...

Sounds liek Dick Law has covered himself in glory yet again.....between him and Gazidis Arsenal have two business geniuses.

This is what I don't get. Arsenal pride themselves on being a well run business. But letting the Walcott situation getting to this stage is moronic. IMO, with 2 years left to run on a contract they should be looking to extend for another year or two. If they do not want to extend you either have to sell to get the best value, or continue with the hope they will extend with one season to go, OR let them run their contract out (Bendtner, Squillaci, Denilson). Now the club find themselves in a situation where if he does not sign they will not make any money on him. If he is to leave in January, then he more than likely won't be eligible for champions league so will get barely anything at that point.
Hopefully he does sign in next few weeks smile

Bendtner makes me laugh. For a guy who says he has had lots of interest in him and even turned down offers! Yet he is still at Arsenal on 30th August. (hopefully I've said it loud enough for this to change by tomorrow!)

He was half decent at Birmingham and I think that's about the best club for him.

Juve are the latest to be linked with him. Would ideally like him to stay in England though, could guarantee ourselves two clean sheets. wink

That's exactly where you're wrong, he'd be total bks except when playing us and would be guaranteed to score every time - that's Karma! Even if he goes abroad he's liable to piss on an ECL bonfire for us!! China or Japan - please God!
(interesting that bks is censored while piss escapes the programme mmmm: Shorpe Dickens Arsenal - testing!)

Spiritual successor to Hartson, and fairly safe - Quick show him a clip of 'Parliamo Glaswegian'

Really cannot see anyone willing to pay or match Bendtner's wages. He's going nowhere

Highly amusing to get Spud trolling on our unshiftables when they are gathering a nice collection of their own. B52 is a damn site cheaper that Arabspaymore and if played in the centre consistently will score (Remember THAT header wink)

Just offering an opinion as to why he's still there, We have loads of players like him we could do with shifting, can't understand why you have not unleashed the danish goal machine during your current goal drought
