Have a triple rofl That's entirely my point doofus. I didn't want him fired, and would have had him back. Good grief. They don't hand out the clever pills round here do they?

To be honest as a lifelong Spurs fan I’m completely in favour of Levy letting him go. Often he was shown to be tactically inept, you can argue all you want about his achievements, but deep down Spurs fan knew he just wasn’t up to taking us to the next level, I rarely felt comfortable or confident with him as manager. For me, the reason he did moderately well was because he had a good squad of players to select from who liked playing for him, and even then he still underachieved this season. No manager with top three aspirations, allows his team to get thumped 5-1 in an FA Cup Semi, lose 5-2 after being 2-0 up against the Arse, and go on to win just 1 in 11 during the final part of the season. Granted; we initially had a good showing in our inaugral CL foray, however the moment we came up against quality, we got thumped 5-0 on aggregate to Real Madrid. Many seem to forget that Martin Jol got us fifth place for two consecutive seasons, has Redknapp really taken us much further since then? He ain't a Premiership winning manager, we learn that he doesn’t even work on set pieces during training. Top managers place training as the ultimate preparation, Harry seemed to think all he had to do was turn up, pick the best 11 on paper and tell them to go and "express themselves". I'm fed up with my old man harping on about the "Glory Years".... I wanna see some, and soon, before the bloomin' grandkids come along! NEXT! apprentice

Harry, speaking to a Sky Sports reporter this morning said that he was 'surprised and confused'. I read that as he was 'surprised that Levy didn't cave in to his demands for a longer contract and 'confused' that even though his agent had told him that he had Levy over a barrel, he was out on his ear instead.

Good grief. They don't hand out the clever pills round here do they? But, would you have him back instead of Dalglish?

Also after we beat them in the semi again a number of fans started questioining his bottle and his negative tactics ... I don't think Moyes is the right man, but the Everton team in the second half of the season wasn't half bad. They were awful in the semi-final but IMO that's because Pienaar was cup tied. I think the hope is that he has done a good job with limited resources and average talent, so what can he do with a better squad. Interesting times at WHL.

As I said earlier - and I'm surprised you didn't remember - I believe Moyes to be too inexperienced. Especially in Europe. He can't hope to attract top players with his CV. Levy will make the right choice. Pound to a penny that he already has his man. He is such a calculating operator, I would wager he engineered this confrontation with REdknapp just to get rid of him.

I think the Spurs fans (who were laughing at Liverpool the other month) should think long and hard about who they are and where they sit.... the "such and such isn't good enough for a club like us" is already starting...... with respect (and you're better and bigger than us), but you're not that big a job (except for the paypacket) and your long term performances on the pitch have not been top notch (remember Leeds managed one Champions League semi-final ...) .... so you won't be looking at the top, top managers.... be realistic.

We have one major advantage over many clubs. We are a major club BASED IN LONDON. With respect, many managers wouldn't want to relocate into the sticks. A sojourn in a major World city on the other hand.......

Good grief. They don't hand out the clever pills round here do they? Of course you didn't, of course.... we all remember the big scouse love-in when you finished 7th and Rafa was accused of being mentally ill......if you're still hurting from his loss, all the better
