I know it’s easy to have sour grapes when you get beat, but the officials and VAR today..ste.

At least we didn’t get ‘Chelski’d’ smile

What was wrong with the officiating?
All the big correct calls were made from my recollection.

Kulu and Maddison with multiple dives, Richie battering ram a few of our players.
Davies should have had 2 yellows at least in that game as well.

Both teams had stuff that was let go but the main calls were all correct from the ref and VAR.

So there wasn't anything then and it's just sour grapes?

If you say so. It really doesn’t matter, VAR remains total ste, and today’s ref was as weak as Gary Neville’s management style.

Well that was more nerve wracking than it should been.
Anyone remind me why Raya is an upgrade on Ramsdale?
Anyway happy St. Totteringhams day everyone!

Supposedly distribution which, today's massive howler aside, he's very good at. Also I believe slightly better at catching the ball than Aaron is.

On the flip side, I think Aaron is better for team cohesiveness and a better shot stopper. I'm not sure there's much in it overall, the stats for this year are going to be massively skewed by having a consistent back line in front of Raya, and a more robust midfield in front of them.

It feels like we've gone sideways with keepers, and both Ramsdale and Raya are, I think, below the top level of Ederson and Allison, nevermind the real greats like Neuer and Buffon!

Anyway. A win is a win, even with a sketchy one. Good to remember they weren't capable of scoring from possession in open play, we essentially had to gift them their goals.

I don't even think Ederson or Allison are leading the GK stats for this season, isn't it Emi Martinez?
(....who we also let go rolleyes)

They're both not having great seasons, this is true. And maybe it's more about the back line anyway?

I'm really sad for Ramsdale, I think he really had the rug pulled out from under him, but I guess this is the world of top level sport. He, I think like Emi Martinez, will go elsewhere and do very well indeed.

Did you miss the own goal that REALLY was a gift?

Not at all, and it was very welcome.

My point, that I think you probably recognised but chose to ignore, is that we took two of our chances to score without being gifted them from massive blunders. Spurs, despite having many chances in the first half, took none of them.

Rather djappoibmnted that so many of your players went down at the slightest touch esp Saka. However there was one of yours writhing abiut in midfeild after feeling a slight vreezewho suddenly became Lazarus and sprinted back

On a more serious note there are reports that there was an inter Arsenal fight where one guy fell hitting his head on the pavement Plod got involved abd were giving him big attention.
Hope everything is ok with him..dislike fans having a go at each other. even more when jt is within a group

Not as disappointed as the fans in the ground at Michael Oliver not buying Spurs players' continual throwing themselves to the ground as soon as they went behind. It's what Spurs do whenever things aren't going their way, but the officials are used to it.

I'm also gutted for you as I was hoping for a battle between just two teams. It's getting rather tiresome seeing City rinse and repeat.
