Am I not allowed to hold the opinion Lewis is washed up?

: laugh: The season is 2 races old. laugh

This is straight after a 22 race season in which LH was 3rd and GR was 8th.

Hamilton is the current best of the rest. The only drivers to beat Hamilton last year were in a Red Bull. Hamilton beat both Ferrari drivers, and I believe had Hamilton been in Ferrari he'd still have finished at least third.
GR had a couple of bad luck DNFs, basically Lewis got lucky.
This season GR has it together, and will beat Lewis in qually over all, and in the points standings. Its pretty obvious to anyone what the outcome will be. GR always got on better with the new mercs than Lewis, who seems to only be able to win when the motor is borderline nuclear compared to the others.

Must be half term again.

Of course Ferrari will want Bearman instead, I mean why would you want the most successful F1 driver ever when you could put an unknown rookie in the car.

Because Bearman beat Lulu in his FIRST EVER race, and won't cost anywhere near £100m. LH can't even beat Russell this season, he's getting royally spanked silly. I'd put all my money on Russell wiping the floor with him again in Australia coming up. Easy monies.
Not sure why you are so upset over someone who doesn't even know who you are, or pay any UK taxes... LOL.

I am not even sure it is worth replying to you but I guess you are forgetting that Hamilton will bring millions in merchandise and PR over his contract plus increased road car sales with special editions, he will more than cover what he is costing over his contract.

Bearman is already on a long term contract with Ferrari, if you so sure they have made mistake feel free to contact Fred Vasseur, I am sure he will welcome your view.

I am not doubting that Bearman could be good but I have never seen so much hype over a driver after one race, way too soon to start calling him the next racing god until he has proved himself over a few seasons, I also find it stupid that people like you call him Lulu, just dumb.

I have. It was after Hamilton's first F1 race with McLaren laugh

Turned out to be somewhat justified too.

Yes I know, he's been lucky since he sat in a kart. All the great drivers have been lucky.
And since 1993 he's won nowt without a hot engine.

OK I'm bored so I'll bite. A driver in the 2nd fastest car manages to beat a driver in a slower car, said slower car driver also ran a compromised strategy. I would not expect anything else.

I see you are still spouting the arrant nonsense about Lewis Hamilton not paying any UK tax?

FYI he is within the top 5% of UK tax-payers and pays vastly more than Amazon UK does. Of course, he also pays tax in the USA, Germany, France, Italy etc. which I expect you also had no clue about.

I wonder if they moved salary into the price cap that all the teams would actually choose cheap drivers over expensive ones. It would make the whole series a lot more interesting.
It would just reduce the salaries overall. Cheap drivers would get 500k, Ham & Ver would get 20m.

You are perfectly entitled to have that opinion. Just as everyone else is entitled to point out what an idiotic opinion it is.

I take it that the Finnish driver is Bottas? Currently languishing 2nd to last, only came 15th in the championship last year.

Every time Lewis has a bad race or qualifying he’s apparently finished. Care to remind me where he came in last year’s championship with a dog of a car?

Forget it - the haters can't help themselves. Lewis lives rent free in their heads.

Very true. Mind you, even his engine decided it didn't want to be in that dog of a car any longer.

Lewis finished ahead of Verstappen today so I doubt he's fully mentally broken just yet.

I get the feeling that Ferrari is a nicer car to drive than the Mercedes cart horse.

As for GR... I haven't seen a Merc parked like that since the first generation of A class got a recall.

I’ve asked you this already but which username(s) do you use on BBC F1 HYS as your trolling seems to be very familiar over there?
