Trackday? Maybe I should have said a trackday. However, if you have one in mind let us all know and we'll see if a Thread gathering is on the cards. I'm certainly up for more track action.

S1 being the classic more hardcore, but is it better? which is the pick? In a nutshell - S1 Exige (Rover K series VHPD) in either 177 or 190bhp flavours. Much more of a raw, racecar feel for the road than the later S2 with the Toyota engine. The S2 Exige is something that you could use everyday and are a LOT more refined if slightly less special. Also get things like ABS etc on the S2 that weren't available on the S1. S1 Exige is a very rare car and therefore worth more than an S2. S2 is available with 189bhp (non SC) and then with the SC - 218, 238, 260bhp.

He has a bats t crazy bike engined Dax with a hoooge turbo bolted on

19's are far too big. I'd go with 18s, but I still think it looks hard as.

Quite a few good looking £10k 996s in the classifieds, reasoning that if I keep looking at them it will make an M3 seem inexpensive. Or something.
