Now if I thought walking everywhere for a year or two would make pork ownership a certainty I'd do it. It's funny how a BMW centric thread can do that do a man.

I'm oot. No, no; you have it all wrong. You find things that a main dealer would charge thousands to fix (panoramic sunroof problem, for example) then fix it yourself for free having knocked thousands off the asking price. The 545i isn't terribly scary but I did buy a warranty for mine just in case...

Output Flange said: Morning all. Got a call last night from a mate from forum.bmw5.co.uk. They're looking to put a display together of E12s, E28s and E34s for the Chris Evans-inspired Car Fest and are a bit short on top quality E34s. Have we got anyone on here who'd be interested in attending/displaying? If so, ping me a message and I'll put you in touch. I have this (all in ambers now) - put me through http://www.bmwmregistry.com/detail.php?id=8547

olly22n said: The thread is single handedly getting the economy going.... I get myself used to the idea of getting a sensible normal car, currently looking at an Audi A1 tomorrow then I read this thread and think how much of a 911 could I get for £15k! I only need an occasional rear seat and the pork has that so how wrong can it go! Off for a tramadol inspired browse of the classified! One of my favourite day dreams has sold now, not sure if I had a lucky escape or not http://www.avantgardecars.co.uk/viewcar/BMW%20528i...

I note with amusement that the keywords "Pork" and "Swine" are constantly monitored on the Internet by the US Department of Home Security.(as are the words "Recall", "Help", "Failure", "Disaster" and "Decapitated")If the septics hit the red button, we'll know who's responsible. Gentlemen, purely academic but ive been giving myself a headache all day with this. What can honestly match up to a 996 turbo, if we limit it to 20k? I cant believe they are that cheap these days!

This evening, right now - if I had £20k burning a hole in my pocket - I'd find it hard to get past a DB7 Vantage. Define "match up". What do you want to use it for? 'punt

I wasnt really sure what I wanted it for, I just wanted it!
The one I am currently looking interestedly at is the Hartge M5, I cant decide if the Hartge ammendments make it more desirable or not!
