This looks like the one that is currently on display at Lazante.

Think you could afford to buy one, but only as an asset - buying that and using it would be a mistake, better to buy one that’s been used and keep using it.

Now all I need is to win big. biggrin
The market of available cars is too small to be that choosy. If you want one you buy whatever is available. That same fact should also help to protect values even if you choose to drive a previously undriven example.

Even if I won the Euromillions jackpot I wouldn't buy one. Simply because my abilities behind the wheel wouldn't be able to even scratch the surface of the F1's abilities.
Also a t50 is much cheaper, more useable, and frees up more cash for coke & hookers. Putting 100k on a t50 would be a decent target imo

It does make you wonder how many F1 owners have bought a T50 as their 'useable' car whilst keeping the F1 as the investment piece.

I think given the reviews I've read the T50 is even better to drive.

I find it such a shame that such a car has not been driven and enjoyed. 247 miles or whatever is most likely trips to get it serviced. What a travesty.
I just don’t get it. Anybody that can afford to buy one doesn’t need for the investment, they do not need it to go up in value, they will have plenty of other investments that will out perform a car in that regard. So why dent yourself the pleasure of using it?

classics were on a huge upward trajectory at the point this was last purchased in 2021, there was alot of cheap money about. Same with art wine crypto nft etc etc.

It was perhaps a punt that would continue. I suspect todays price is less than 2021 price, even more so in real terms. let see where the auction ends up.

Given the amount of time that's passed since the F1, it bloody well should be! Shame it looks like 'that'

Or you could say it's good as there's plenty of life in it yet, there's a proper original F1 experience that exists in the world.

Sadly I guess it's unlikely any future owner will drive it much either though!

Nothing wrong with the face - it's the rear...

The T50 is a bit of a weird one. The photos don't really do it justice - in the flesh everything makes sense about it. I was also fortunate enough to speak to Dario Franchitti about driving it, and whilst I know he's an employee of GM, his enthusiasm for the car seemed very real.

T50 much better in the metal. It does really work much better than it looks in photos

would be suprised if it's gained any money in that time, nice looking car though but largely unusable unless you have an insane amount of wealth!

How much work would need to be done to make that car actually properly useable?

Probably nothing crazy - pipes, fluids and tires - £50-75k??

Breaking in: I like this one.

Flemke's blue and the original Macca Orange work well too.

Not too fond of darker coloured and shiny silver looking cars.

I'd switch to cloth seats without a second thought.

For the record, 029 is one of my top 5 F1's for spec, the interior and exterior work well together smile

I would choose different wheels, if I had the means.
