Looking at the beauties in this thread you have to wonder why such gorgeous cars had such short lives.

I can only guess that money talks louder than beauty. Its sad that people would rather drive a StreetKa than some of the gorgeous designs here.

Ascari Ecosse. I love these Im sure less than 1000 were made dito the Facel Vega.

Phlea bow OMG you have a hyena! where are the pictures. I remember when they came out I so wanted one. I also remember a zagato based on a alfa Romeo at teh same time but I am not sure if any were made.

As for the OSCA GT above I am pretty sure none were ever sold. pity as for me it was the perfect car. Japanese mechanics dressed in a delicious Italian suit! Should have been the Italian Elise
light wieght and as I remeber was supposed to be cheap.

I still wonder how much? are made of the very nice and lightweight OSCA Dromos 2500 GT.

its got a Subaru 2457cc flat four engine : 187 bhp but weights only 680kg according to this story;
www.cartype.com/page.cfm?id=307&alph=ALL&dec=ALL

some more pictures detailed;
www.allsportauto.com/modules.php?name=Sportphoto&zl_idMD=491

Does anybody knows such car for sale and is there more then one?? I like it, think of a biturbo on that 2.5 flat 4 engine and around 300<>400hp in such lightweight nice...

Beautiful car, great underpinnings, but they forgot to put an interior in the thing. No wonder they didn't sell any!

Great to see this thread again!

I love the Ecosse - seen a silver one IRL - and it looks stunning.

I second that, sadly they did not make so many, only a few I believe and maybe none LHD lucky for us there are also many other cars to choose from sometimes I think to many to choose fromhehe
The longer I drove cars, and the more different cars, the more I know what I would like to see in a car what could make me a happy driver

>>Lightweight, at least under 1250kg (best under 900kg)
>>not to long, at least under 4300cm (best under 4000cm)
>>A good engine!! 300<>650ps, depends on weight of the car.
>>turningcircle under 12mtr
>>not to high, at least under 130cm
>>Coupe/hardtop car (don't like to much windnoise)
>>must be a real driverscar and connected to the road and the driver.

some extra's not realy needed but would be nice to see in the car;

>>ABS, DSC/tractioncontrol, elctricwindows/central locking, aircon.

They only made 15 of these integrales for Club Italia members. They are evo 1's (so 15" wheels) with high back red leather interior, it look blacks, but I believe it was called Ink Blue despite being the same as Lord Blue - anyone correct this if they know different. They have the club Italia badge on the front wings

Fantastic looking car - I did think they made more than two though. It retailed at around £390,000 here in the UK I think.

Renault 21 Turbo Quadra

Forgot about those - a friend of my sis used to have one. Utterly bonkers quick at the time with useless brakes and turbo lag you can time with a watch.... but get it going and it was ballistic! Forgot all about them.... ah, memories...
