What's the deal with the Lancia Hyena? Is it a Zagato design because it bears a striking resemblance to a Zagato model (concept?) with Audi A3 mechanicals (engine, interior fittings). The car was green in colour - I read it in an old issue of Autocar some years ago.

Boyd's Aluma Coupe

Tatra MTX

Leyland 8 (the one on the right, can't find another picture. A contemporary of the Blower Bentley, less than 10 built, and only 2 surviving I think.)

1956 Ferrari 250GT Zagato. 5 made - all built to order and hence slightly different. This is chassis 0515GT, the first to be made. Stunning car.

Seen here next to chassis 0665GT (left, silver) from 1957 - which was commissioned by the owner of 0515GT. It raced in the Mille Miglia that year coming 2nd in class. It was also sponsored by a paint company called Idriz for the race in what is reckoned to be one of the first ever sponsorship deals.

Jeremyc - the green one on the right, you wouldn't know if it's the ex car of a Pher do you? If so I think my neighbour may now own it.
I beleive it is still owned by a guy in London who isn't around on PH.

Maserati Ghibli Cup-26 RHD and about 70 altogether! (and still a better power to weight ratio than the Gransport)

I know these are great cars, but they are concepts and as such were never intended for production. So, not so much 'rare' as 'unproduced'.

Just my 2p.

Some of these special editions of very common cars don't count. You may as well start adding up fiesta dash numbers released

While I'm in the mood for 'teardrop' coupes, how about this one. Circa 50 to be built I believe.

ahh but now you're posting for no reason, infact are you trying to gain a higher moral ground by pointing out the high position of moral ground that benzo has assumed?
or are you just bored? hehe

Yep, it's a Zagato design over Lancia Delta integrale mechanicals. Nor sure which integrale, though.

I am fortunate enough to own 3 such cars!

1. 1931 Bentley 8 litre - 100 produced. Mine is one of two on planet with a particular modification.
2. 1959 Lancia Flaminia Sport Zagato 3c - 443 produced, only 120 in this particular guise.
3. 1992 Porsche 944 Turbo Cab - Only 43 in the UK and the overall numbers is certainly WELL below 1000. I recall 350 odd or so?

Pictures on profile. Feel free.
