Morgan Aero 8 (now ended production - circa 700 built - many abroad or written off)

As far as I am aware, they still make the Aero 8. (I lived less than 40ft away from the factory for a few years until November.)

I know not mega rare but just read through this whole thread and not seen a mention of the S1 106 rallye (or s2 for that matter). Around 700 left now. Daft revvy 1.3 engine with even dafter close ratio box.

Here's mine, I love it!

Isdera ERATOR GT from 1969 aparently only one made, it looks like a Ford GT40.
It is Isdera's first car i believe.

http://translate.google.com/translate?client=tmpg&...

It is even lower then a GT40...it is just 960mm high/low

some translated story...
1969 Eberhard Schulz built his first sports car: the construction of only 96 cm high (without mirror) was given the somewhat confusing name of 'ERATOR GT', which means something like 'erring'.

Irre waren auf jeden Fall die Fahrleistungen. Astray were the driving performance in any case. A 5-liter Mercedes-Benz engine was using the classic tuning (dry sump, Weber carburetor) to a benefit brought by a little over 400 hp. As the car a Cd value of only 0.322 had, was the (alleged) speed enormous at 315 km / h, 1969 was well above the possible performance of comparable sports cars (Lamborghini Miura P400 = 274 km / h Ferrari 365 GTB / 4 Daytona = 274 km / h; Maserati Ghibli = 265 km / h Ford GT 40 = was 300 km / h).

The car was a complete self-construction with a fiberglass body, which was stuck on a lattice frame. Highlights were the double doors, reminiscent of the legendary Mercedes 300 SL, some years before the Lamborghini Countach was swinging upwards entries become his trademark

very special with a Merc V8 and fast it was/is

AC Greyhound, only 83 made. Chap you used to work for me would drive to work in it. Strange bloke, his wife was one of those perpetual students, must have done 20 courses in various things without ever getting a proper job.
