Just for some balance, I have a November 1st Registred 2024 Cayenne E-Hybrid now with with over 2000 miles covered and it has been faultless. Very impressed with it and i have owned the 2 previous generations (non hybrid).
This is what makes no sense. If it's a software fault how are there cars on the road without the so called fault. Its all very odd.

not common knowledge and not 100% confirmed, but my OPC (UK) telling me possible software rollout Friday.. and only a 5min one at that
i'll update if i get any further info
My OPC quoted the same information, also mentioned of a goodwill compensation that will be given for the delay, any ideas what they may offer considering the car has been at the dealer for 3-4 months nowi'll update if i get any further info
Goodwill/compensation is case specific over and above the delay for everyone who has had their car stuck in the stop-sale - your dealer should have put in a claim for this with justification/evidence on your behalf.
PUK/OPC also should have offered a hire/loan car.
PUK not known for throwing money at customers in these type of situations and don't seem too fussed either if you walked away - in fact the dealers will fully reimburse and honour an unwind if that's what a customer wants.

Our OPC told us today that they have resolved the apparant software glitch and have successfully test loaded the software into one of their vehicles. Deliveries could start by month end. It appears that the patch needs a vehicle specific code for each vehicle which Porsche are in the process of advising to the dealer network
I've been told mine is now all sorted so I'm planning to pick up this weekend
We still don't know what the specific problem was - my guess is it was WLTP/BIK stats related (i.e. not safety/mechanical) as seems strange there was no recall for cars that got out to customers. It was also only the UK that had the stop-sale as far as I am aware?

Looking to spec one up and can't decide if the 's' has enough extra to make it worthwhile, who has ordered what and why ? Also back to the options problem assume all leather dash is a must, I'll put BOSE and active Cruise (don't ask I just like it), what else.

The S has a 468HP V8 that sounds frickin amazing with the sports exhaust. Definitely worth it. Anyone got a depreciation crystal ball I normally use 50% gone after 3 years.

Apologies I meant the e-hybrid, love the idea of V8 but fuel could be interesting, in hybrid the 's' has slightly better performance (same v6) and air suspension but not much else for your £8kGassing Station | Front Engined Porsches | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
