I really do wish they'd be allowed to post in NPE though. That would really really cause utter mayhem especially if they could post in threads.

Pistonheads doesn't appear to prevent a new user from being created and creating posts immediately. It's only after they've been reported that their account is locked by the mods at which point they rinse and repeat the user creation and post creation process.
They've almost certainly got a trained bot which cycles through a number of websites.

That would probably be helpful, but too many reports of the same post is not really a major issue. Maybe once reported a post to say ‘Reported’ would help stop people spending time unnecessarily reporting the same thing.Scrump said:

So I stopped doing both - now I just report and get on with reading other posts
