I'm not the best person to ask about the car but noticed on the AT Price Tracker plugin that the car was listed originally at £89,490 for a day before been increased to £92,990.

Might help in any negotiations.
I am looking to get it a smidge under the previous asking price.

Hey guys,

I think I have found the right car, could I have your input please: https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202402176...

Thank you!
I like the look of that. Only other comment I’d make is that it’s fitted with P Zero Corsas …. You’ll probably want to factor in replacing them with something half decent as they are not a great tyre.

Looks good to me.

The spec is fairly 'typical' for what you'd find on a GT, but not really missing anything important.

Reg is BF19 UMC based on https://www.parks.uk.com/mclaren/used-cars/1745890... . Interesting that it seems to have been over in NI, although I don't think that's a concern. It's only covered 200 miles in the last 6 months, and 1000 miles in last ~2 years by the MoT history, but not that unusual I guess.

Price looks good value to me especially for approved used.

Thank you mate, I am just looking for best value car really as I will probably only have it for a year and just want to experience owning a "supercar".

Nice car and price; for ref I paid about the same for a 17 reg, similar mileage and spec in July last year. Just goes to show that seasonal premiums are real!

Few little things to check; make sure the A pillar trim doesn't rattle and hasn't had any material lifting/creasing near where it meets the dash. Likewise, do a check of the rear deck trim and make sure nothing's loose there or broken from careless mechanics removing trim! Pull the seats forward and do a check of the bulkhead trim as well, just to make sure there's nothing loose/rattling. Check the lower sills on the doors where they shut and connect with the chassis for any rub/wear that might highlight door misalignment.

Check the wheels haven't been touched-up in any areas and have been refurbed; getting your hands on the touch-up paint seems to be tricky!

Also something I wished I'd pushed for is to see if you can get 2 years warranty as part of the deal instead of the standard 12.

Best of luck!

Looks stunning to me. Official warranty, titanium exhaust panoramic roof and ceramics. Cant remember what year ceramics became standard but I know not all GT's had them.

Also bet you end up keeping more than a year...I said the same and cant see myself selling soon

Anyone know this MSO Black Collection 570GT?
https://www.dicklovett.co.uk/specialist/used-cars/...

Something a bit different, the GT with the Sports pack seems like a good combo to me. I think it's a bit punchy price wise, still in McWarranty to Jan 25 & has had paint for arch corrosion the end of last year. 5 owners in 5 years is a bit offputting though, and no PPF at all on a an all black car.

I don't think it has the 'Sports pack' (570S springs/dampers/alignment/ESC tune on a 570GT), from the ad, unless you've confirmed otherwise directly?
Does it have nose lift?
In terms of PPF I'd say it's one of those things you'd need to inspect the car in the metal to judge, but certainly I would be looking for near-pristine cosmetic condition at this price, whatever level of protection.

The 2018- GTs sit slightly above the 2016-17 models as the later cars have ceramic brakes. I agree that for £95k I'd be tempted towards an approved used car, possibly the Volcano Red one at McBrum for a few grand more. But perhaps DL may be persuadable to do a deal, especially if you really want black.

I thought that all 'Black Collection' cars were Sports Pack by default, but I can't actually tell. Maybe its a VIN to McDealer question? It does have GT pack inc lift etc.

It's certainly not pristine, wheels were surprisingly good but road rash on the door lowers and leading edge of the rear skirt (where the door closes). I'll take another look when I have more time I think and see how keen they are to deal, you're right this is pristine / approved used pricing but it's not that car.

Good knowledge, I wasn't aware of that but it certainly looks like it. Neat!

The Sports Pack seems to be fairly rare on the market from what I can see, so makes this car worth serious consideration if that's what you want.

Someone was selling privately on AT recently, might be worth checking if you're looking for a black edition.
