Definitely not for everyone but. this is the cheapest non-Citroen AMI electric car deal I've seen for a while.

https://leasing.com/independent-brokers/carparison...

GWM ORA Ora 03 Hatchback 126kW Pure+ 48kWh 5dr Auto
35 monthly payments £159.00
Initial payment £1,729.80
(9 x monthly payments + £298.80 fees)
Vehicle value £31,940.00
Annual mileage 5,000

Total Lease Cost: £7,294.80 or £202.63 per month.
They were a lot cheaper a couple of months ago, and I still didn't go for one as insurance quotes were eye watering.

Anyone after a business deal this seems really good to me for the 330e M Sport

2 years, 5k miles, 9 months up front - £258 ex VAT

Very quick and smart looking. Boot space suffers a bit from the battery but still

Anyone who jumped on the Cupra Leon deal a few months back had theirs delivered yet?

Mine 'should' be arriving at their preparation centre over the next few days.

That's a tempting deal on the ORA. I fear the insurance on these, however.
Didn't the insurance issue get resolved once they updated their system to reflect the Ora 3 the same as the Funky Cat?

They are extremely uncomfortable and steering wheel didn’t adjust for reach, felt very 2000s.

These are good to drive but don’t make sense after you take into account VAT + the 8% BIK for a sole trader.

Not sure if it’s still the case but BMW ‘business deal’ was quite wide ranging and also applied to people who had opted out of company car schemes and received an allowance.

I spoke with carparison regarding this deal, and they told me they will not accept orders from personal clients in receipt of car allowance.

Does anyone have much experience with Alfa Romeo's? Considering an Alfa Romeo Tonale, but unsure after reading reviews about Alfa's in general.
Owned a couple of 159's back in the early 2010....which were both good cars.

Then leased a Giulia, followed by a PCP on a Stelvio, again both great cars. No reliability issues on either, other than the well known rubbish stock battery issue, which was replaced under warranty. Other than that, i had 5 years trouble free motoring between the two - only moved on due to EV Co. car BIK madness.

We have sat in one but not driven it - it feels very premium inside. We both thought it was large though, especially vs our Kona, but we need more space. Interestingly, the Aryia fwd's boot is the same size as the new Kona at 466 litres, and only 50L bigger with the seats folded at 1350L. The Kona is not as wide, long or high and is 100kg lighter than the 63kWh Aryia. No wonder it is more efficient. The 87Kwh Aryia weighs over 2100kgs and I doubt will travel as far as the Kona 65kWh - hey ho, it is cheaper!
Do you have the contact details for Jonathan, the number you put up a few pages back is not being recognised, see what he has left and what current pricing looks like as can see the deal is still being advertised on the Xcite website.

My sister had hers delivered around a week ago so I’d imagine you’ll have yours soon.

Never done a lease and my company have just added salary sacrifice scheme in the last week.

Tell me why I should not go with this deal:

£592 GROSS pay sacrificed to a £412 per month effect on take home pay for 10000 miles with no upfront payment ti get a:

NISSAN Ariya Advance SuV 87kWh battery in Gun Metallic
329 mile range (what should I expect?)
242 bhp (so longer range)
16.5p excess mileage over 10k miles
No upfront payment

Best leaseloco deal is £472 at the moment for same details.

Extras not normally in leaseloco deals:
All servicing and maintenance
Fully Comp Insurance for me and Mrs
Road Tax (RFL)
Replacement Tyres
Accident Mgt
Small car hire if off the road with an approved supplier.
Roadside Assistance
Insurance for early termination redundancy, resignation or change in circumstances.

What sort of cost will the electric be? Been told a £1k will get a 22kW charger, not sure what system this uses or £1k is too much.

I've done some man maths, my petrol alone is £3900 for my current car if I was to do 10000 miles, it would need £2k into tyres and maintenance soon. Tax and insurance is £1200 pa. The Insurance price would not change for 3 years.

Although I think I'd need to add £113 per month to keep my career average pension as is.

Is there anything I've overlooked? Do I pull the trigger now?

Seems like you will have some good savings if your insurance is that much typically. What car do you have now if it’s costing that much in fuel, or is that the cost at more than 10k miles? I do 12k miles a year and it costs around £2300, I do consider my vehicle pretty bad on fuel coming from a diesel which could get double the MPG at times.

22KW charger will require you to have a 3-phase supply, which is fairly unusual. You may already know that but just in case..

329mile range is probably more like 200-250 miles real world.

In terms of charger and electricity costs, you'll be saving a fortune.

If you're having a charger installed at home, the highest rating you'll get is 7KW (or 11KW if you happen to have a three-phase supply - industrial only usually). Chargers are anywhere between £500-1000 depending on the type.

Electricity costs depends on your tariff. If you can get on an EV tariff you'll get it for 7-9p/kwh depending on who you go with. Works out to around £250 to do your 10k miles (250miles to a charge, £6 per charge on a 7.5p/kwh tariff).

You'll save more than £3,500 a year in fuel alone. You're probably looking at saving £5k a year just in running costs, never mind the mentioned tyres and servicing.

Providing an EV would work for you. Your daily mileage etc. It works for me and it works for a lot of people, but depends on your circumstaces as to whether it will work for you.
