In store a new engine is 80K, but inly 61k online. Bargain!!!
And yet, having heard the engine I can't help but think that's a bargain got some reason!
60k for that V10 almost sounds.... cheap... funnily enough. the CGT's engine I remember being told is quite a lot more than that.

I don't think the parts look that unreasonable funnily enough as far as this type of car is concerned... it's a seriously bespoke low production car with loads of unique parts. One can't reasonably expect gt3 type parts pricing surely?
Agreed for some of it. But $5306.82 for a stick on 'F' badge?

Nope, developed by Toyota (and Yamaha).

ETA: 4.8l 72 degree, rather than the VAG 5.0/5.2l 90 degree.

hah.. fair point on that. but for some of the bigger bespoke bits... they look 'ok' if that can be said for something of that price! Wonder if there's an equivalent price catalogue for say the CGT or any of the 3 hybrid supercars.....

No it isn't? It's hand built by yamaha for a start. What's the point in spouting false information you know is BS?

Could get one made of gold with diamonds fitted for cheaper.

Don't tell anyone, but the clutch out of a V6 Camry will fit. And the windscreen is just a slightly cut down Prius item.

As for the doors... They're actually off a Renault van.

Of course, Lexus don't want you to know this, so anyone who says it's BS is just a Lexus employee trying to protect the profit margin.

wink

$189.00 for a headlight bulb. But its interesting to note that it is 42 volts rather that 12. If thats the case then I suppose the whole electrical system is 42 volts. Wonder why they chose that route?
Ah, just noticed that the indicator bulb is 12 volt. Odd. Unless the headlight is some odd HID thing?

The audio head unit and sat system is $27374.15. I really hope it has DAB.
