Kris Meeke announced to do the Otago Classic next year, should be fun to see him out on the stages in a BDA.
And now Brandon Semenuk (current USA rally champ) confirmed for Otago too, running classic 4wd class in an H6 Impreza: https://otagorally.com/2024/02/13/usa-champion-rea...

Looking like 130-odd entries at this stage, I'm looking forward to it already!

Quiet on here...... laugh

So, again - who's out on the Malcolm Wilson? Might be up at Dovenby for this one.

It does look a bit like the ITV4 TV coverage is having a positive impact on the BRC - both Keith Cronin and Chris Ingram have announced their registration and intention.

Chris even stated something along the lines of - there's more media/publicity value in the BRC, than there is running in WRC2 as a privateer.

Which is great news, to me.

I know I will probably get hung from the nearest Mk2 Escort for daring to say anything positive about the BRC!

A year in BRC hasn't done Adrien Fourmaux any harm. Hopefully it will again return as a series that helps set people up for the "next step"

With you both on that front. We need more international drivers to take advantage of what the increased media coverage is bringing.

I'm not saying we'll be back in the heydays of the 70s and 80s but it's an improvement on recent years.

I'll be following closely to see who emerges strongly. thumbup

And now we have an M-Sport team in the BRC, with Pearson and McRae.

Guaranteed to get more coverage on Dirtfish too.

Best news for me is that both co-drivers live in Tobermory, having moved there as adults due to a Tour of Mull / Mull Rally connection.

All going in the right direction. Actually beginning to look forward to the start of the season at the North West Stages.

Currently on the Cairnryan-Belfast boat before the long drive to Clonakilty for the West Cork rally this weekend. Recce tomorrow (without sleep tonight) and Thursday before 3 days of competition. Will be my 250th event but for various reasons mainly work related I’m not particularly hyped up for it.

Interesting entry on the reserve list for Rallynuts Severn Valley, looks like UK Rallying is in rude health. Over 200 entries have been received for the 170 places available.@ 12/03/2024
(E1) - Unseeded Entry List.
Verstappen Jos - Jamoul Renaud - Skoda Fabia RS Rally 2 - 1600 N1 - Reserve
