Hi all.

Thought I would pop up some photos of the Tuscan's new lift-up bonnet I have just had done. Cap doffed to Mick Oliver who did the conversion; some may recognise the name as ex-bodyshop manager for Harrogate Horseless Carriages.

Now's the time to start looking into tidying up the engine bay, unfortunately like many Tuscans it's not as shiny as it should be under there. Plans are to tidy up the engine bay when the engine gets rebuilt in May.

To anyone looking at hinged bonnets, I highly recommend the work done by Mick.

Hi Gary, your car looked excellent in Evo. I got a bit of a deal through being in the trade, so you may want to contact him. His number is 07736472478.

Hi Rob

Thanks, turns out the Nitrons need a refurb which I suspected and they should be back this week, had new fuel tank as it had a small hole, changed the wipers to leven much better than the crap Citroen ones, in a couple of weeks time the seats are coming out for a clean and give interior a complete clean up, then wheels off for a refurb, roof and A piller will get a respray then she will be looking really nice, just like my Griff. I will phone and get a price, took bonnet off the other week what a faff

Just had a look at the Leven wipers myself actually, the standard wipers are truly terrible.

S6, based in Yorkshire, so probably won't be much help to you...

That's correct. Is this unusual?

Uhh good question. I think a number of conversions recently have hinges which lay inside the engine bay next to the radiator.

Not sure if there are any benefits of one method over another.
