In the spirit of helping I tried to find if the previous owner had posted online and found your Kia owners post - worth adding here that it seemed to be working fine for the first 3 months of your ownership so the copart / reason for sale might be a red herring.
Was that post definitely from OP? Presumably the previous owner also encountered the problem and may have asked for help with it (and then ended up selling it back to copart - which is what I'd do if it was me).

I saw Kia was recommended back then due to the niche nature of the car - have you ever gone or tried to go?
Interesting twist ?

So he has said the car was working fine for a period after he bought it ?

Wow....just wow.

As said before....these threads all seem the same, massive misinformation and then they get massively butt hurt at a dose of the truth then go run and hide.

Ah, the flounce. Normally occurs as a result of coming here with half a story, being ripped apart for it, rumbled and then not enjoying the result.

I was genuinely trying to help….

The trouble with all of these posts is that information comes in piecemeal - perhaps there should be a template new posters should follow that gives it all in one go

In some cases they genuinely don't have the info, nor have any clue what is important until people tell them. Although by that stage they've already went off in a huff.

But accurate and honest history matters so much for this kind of thing. Sadly it's a rarity we get it.

I genuinely did give all the information I was told from other so called experts and was honest on this thread in everyone of my posts here and was still ripped to bits, I am the first to admit my own failings, but it was not deliberate, nevertheless I certainly suffered because of it, what I said on the other forum was never meant to come onto this forum.
I am just not prepared to sit here and be ripped time and time again and is why I have deleted all my posts and ask my account to be closed.

I can accept, I was some what naive on my original post, but to go to bed feeling terrible after posting on here is not how I want to live.

As I said earlier I have learnt a lot from this thread, but was the stress that was caused as a result worse it, certainly not.

Just because you have been members for years doesn't give you to right to say and act however you like with no regard for the other persons feelings, please just remember when you are being a keyboard warrior there is always somebody else on the other side :-(

Maybe i am just not tough enough for this forum!!

Anybody reading this thread looking for some advise check out this resource, very helpful:

Anyway peace and love to all love

Advice, please!
It even looks how it sounds!

Woolyg has done himself a big favour with his latest (last?) post, I think. Stay! We all live and learn.
Pistonheads is a particularly ‘challenging’ forum at times, but, if you post asking for help, give all the information you have, and respond to replies and questions in a timely manner, it can be a very helpful place.

you stress and upset too easy.

Live and learn, be honest and forthcoming, tell the truth, the full story.

It all costs nothing and helps everyone.

Exactly.

Their is a massive difference between,

“I bought the car from Copart as a non runner and was told it was due to back pressure”

And

“I bought the car second hand, it ran perfectly for 3 months then refused to start”

How can anyone give helpful advice when we don’t know which problem is real ?

Aww don’t go , PH takes a while get used to , great place to be , I get all sorts of abuse / banter on the food forums but take none of it to heart , I also won’t post advice on the homes thread ,even though I’m a gas engineer/ plumber, as there’s always some holier than thou prick who thinks they know better due to you tube / google ,,apart from that I love it here
