Hi all,
To update and end this thread from a while ago, I may have just done a bad thing in the eyes of the HSV world.
I'm driving back from London with something big, black and older than me on the back of the truck!!!
Apologies in advance and I'll start a new thread later to explain myself
As it says what do we think he has gone and bought my guess ................To update and end this thread from a while ago, I may have just done a bad thing in the eyes of the HSV world.

Saves him stickering it up for LeMans too Haha,
You guys crack me up ... So impatient!!!
So, here's my explanation:
I was thrown a total curve ball with this car.
Having stupidly sold my Monaro last summer, I've been looking at all sorts of cars that interest me, but No.1 on my list was an already modified Monaro VXR and I hoped it would have a S/C'er. Having driven Rob's car to that Kent Xmas meet, I was ruined!!! So all this is kinda his fault really...
I was messed about on a couple of potential cars and then my old car was offered back to me, which by that time had had £7.5K put into it. That sadly fell through at the last minute.
Having started some research into American Classics at the start of the year, I was advised to pick a car that I liked and then find the best one that I could afford. I found a car that ticked all the boxes (except for the price ), but on looks alone it was worth the dosh.
The car then vanished, only to appear on eBay a couple of times and never reaching the reserve... So I thought 'sod it' and rang the bloke to ask him what he wanted for it. Still over budget, he convinced me to just come and take a look as he could tell I was clearly a 'car nut'.
There she was sat under a cover with the huge wheels sticking out at the bottom.
"OMG" I thought, "This thing is MASSIVE".
With the cover removed, you'd buy it on looks alone, but trying to drive the thing around Central London, quickly gave me doubts and tarnished the dream.
It was a big decision to make. I was stood there starring at this thing with a voice in my head saying "Do you want to be the guy that almost had the 'minerals' to buy a Classic Muscle Car, but then was too scared!?" I had a million reasons why I shouldn't buy it...
I got a grip of myself, agreed a price and left a deposit. He took it off of eBay and then his mobile phone went nuts with people ringing up for the car!!! Haha
I'll leave you with a couple of teaser shots and keep you guessing (I like this game) until I've taken some better photos to show you all...
