Lagonda Porn!

Go on holiday in the Aston to the Brittany coast. Been there before, so know we will be the only Aston in the area. Check into hotel, to be told that Peugot have booked all car parking spaces Get told I can park in local secure underground car park, but there is a section reserved for Aston Martin Lagonda. Assume the Conciege is very confused, but drive to car park. Get there and find 20 places marked off as for Lagondas Only. Can only assume they mean Aston as you never see a Lagonda in the UK let alone France.
Park up, go back to hotel, get a beer and tell Aston Annie there must be other Astons in the area as there is a section on the car park marked off (wrongly) for Lagondas.
When all of a sudden we hear a V8 rumble. Pop onto balcony to see not 1 but 2 Lagondas below us!
Turns out we are booked into the same hotel as 18 Lagondas from accross Europe on their annual jaunt! One of which was at Hever Castle. Small world!









Love these when they first came out, first car to use computer managment and digital dashboard.

Which hotel is that? Looks nice, it's always good to know of hotels in France with secure underground parking. I rather fancy taking the Aston to France for a blast...

Wasn't allowed in the hotel car park - the pictures are of the local underground car park!. Is protected by CCTV and is only a minutes walk to the hotel. Hotel has open air, but secure car parking, that normally is valet parking only. Peugeot had booked all the hotel spaces (even though there were lots spare). Had a row with the hotel about it, got the Gallic shrug!
Disappointed with the hotel's attitude, especially as had stayed there before, and gone back partly for the secure parking. Rest of the hotel is great, with fantastic views across the bay to St Malo.
Hotel is The Grand Hotel, Dinard.

By all accounts the Lagonda boys had a great time, even had police escorts on their trips out, would have been good to have seen that.
